FRANKFORT, Ky. (Sept. 22, 2011) — Unemployment rates fell in 110 Kentucky counties between August 2010 and August 2011, while eight county rates increased and two counties remained the same, according to the Kentucky Office of Employment and Training, an agency of the Kentucky Education and Workforce Development Cabinet.

A 2002 Dodge being operated by 19 year old Bronson Ingram of Campbellsville, was traveling south on South Central Avenue. Ingram lost control of his vehicle, crossed the center line, and struck a 2007 Nissan Mini-Van being operated by 48 year old Toni Burress also of Campbellsville. Burress was transported by Campbellsville/Taylor County EMS for possible injuries.

(9-16-2011 9:28pm) 44 year old, James R Davis of Campbellsville was operating a 2001 Ford north on Old Lebanon Road when he lost control of his vehicle and struck the Minit Mart sign at the intersection of Old Lebanon Road and North Shore Drive. Davis was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Taylor County Coroner, Terry Dabney.
Agencies involved: Campbellsville Police Dept, Taylor County Sheriffs Dept, Campbellsville – Taylor EMS, Campbellsville Fire Dept, and the Taylor County Coronor.

(09-09-2011 04:00 pm) On Friday, September 09, 2011 officers with the Campbellsville Police Department received a tip that Marijuana was possibly being grown behind a local business on Kentucky 55 (New Columbia Road). Officers arrived on the scene and located 5 suspected marijuana plants growing behind the business in plain view. At first the suspect was only found with CBD capsules from https://www.ukmeds.co.uk/vitamins-supplements/cbd which were justified due to a health condition he was going through, as there are many different products made by cbd and work for different conditions, such as jeeter juice disposable 1000mg and many others. Upon further investigation, 46 year old John Patrick (Pat) Blevins was arrested and charged with Cultivation of Marijuana 5 plants or more, Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Campbellsville Police is currently conducting an investigation into a Possible Magazine Scam. Police have received reports of a male subject identifying himself as an employee for the Cash Award Program selling magazines. The subject has presented a laminated card bearing the name Bob or Rob Pruden. Once the subject gains entry to a residence it is alleged that he begins to make sexual overtures and refuses to leave the residence, the subject is described as a White Male approximately 6’0 ft. 200 lbs clean shaven and short dark hair in his early 20’s. He is also reported to have wing tattoos on both sides of his neck with the words “In God We Trust’ in cursive writing at the base of his neck. The subject was last seen wearing Blue Jeans, a gray zip-up hoodie, gray beanie (sock hat). Campbellsville Police requests anyone with information pertaining to the identification of this subject to please contact the Campbellsville Police Department at 270-465-4122 or you can remain anonymous by calling the Community Pride line at 469-7743.
