KSP Conducts Missing Person Investigation(Casey County, KY) -The Kentucky State Police Post 15 – Columbia is conducting a missing person investigation in regards to Patricia Ann Moddrelle (age 78) of Gravel Switch. Mrs. Moddrelle is 5 foot 1 inches and weighs approximately 160 lbs with brown-grey hair and hazel eyes. The last contact with Mrs. Moddrelle was on June 27, 2011 and she was last seen wearing black or green pants with black or tan shoes. Mrs. Moddrelle is possibly operating a maroon 1996 Ford Taruas station wagon with a possible destination of Danville, KY. Anyone with information in regards to the whereabouts of Patricia Ann Moddrelle is urged to contact the Kentucky State Police or nearest law enforcement agency. Trooper A. Read MorePerson Ran Over by VehicleOn June 15th of 2011 at approximately 2:12 officers rom the Campbellsville Police Department along Campbellsvile Taylor County Rescue Squad responded to 115 East Walnut Street to a call of a person that had been run over by a vechicle. Thirty-four year old Audra Graham of Campbellsville advised that her vechicle quit running in her driveway. When she got out, the vechicle rolled backwards with passengers still inside. Graham was able to turn the steering wheel to keep the vechicle from striking a house. As the vechicle turned it rolled over top of her. She was transported to Taylor Regional Hospital. The other passengers were not injured. Read MoreMurder in Adair County(Adair County, KY) – At 5:52 P.M. C.S.T. Post 15 received a call to respond to 5941 Russell Springs Road in Eastern Adair County. Upon arrival troopers discovered 61 year old Michael Cowan of Columbia with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Cowan had also been ran over with a vehicle prior to the shooting. Cowan was pronounced dead at the scene by the Adair County Coroner’s Office. Troopers arrested 43 year old Jeffery D. Mcgaha of Columbia who had abandoned his vehicle and left on foot a short distance from the scene. Mcgaha was charged with 1st degree murder and lodged in the Adair County Jail. The investigation is ongoing by Detective Russell Decker.
