Garry Humphress

Garry Allen Humphress, 87, of Columbia, Kentucky, son of the late Lee A. Humphress and Estelle Hovious Humphress was born October 16th, 1936, in Columbia, KY, and departed this life on December 24th, 2023 at his home surrounded by family.
Garry united in marriage to Ms. Eleanor Yevonne Humphress on April 20th, 1957. She survives.
Garry was a retired cabinet maker. He manufactured cherry furniture for 61 years. He enjoyed mowing and spending time outdoors. Garry has loved singing gospel music since 1975 and has been singing with the Living Waters Gospel Group for over 18 years. He professed faith in Christ and was a dedicated member of Mt. Zion Church of God for many years. He was a school bus driver for the Adair County School System for 27 years.

Besides his wife, Garry is survived by:
Two sons: Timmy Humphress and his wife, Tammy, of Columbia; and Todd Humphress and his wife, Jill, of Elk Horn
Three grandchildren: Matthew Humphress of Columbia; Daniel Humphress and his wife, Kaci, of Columbia; and Nick Humphress and his wife, Brooke, of Elk Horn
Five great-grandchildren: McKenzie Humphress of Columbia; Emma Burton of Columbia; Rhett Humphress of Columbia; Blaine Humphress of Columbia; and Linny Humphress of Elk Horn
A host of other relatives and friends

He was preceded in death by:
One sister and two brothers: Imogene Dudgeon, Blue Humphress, and Harold Humphress

VISITATION: Wednesday, December 27th, 2023 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville.

FUNERAL: Thursday, December 28th, 2023 at 11:00 am at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville with burial to follow in Harden Cemetery. Bro. Jake Eldridge and Bro. Raymond Atwood will be officiating.

PALLBEARERS: Matthew Humphress, Daniel Humphress, Nick Humphress, Stan Curry, Ronnie Humphress, and Darrel Dudgeon
HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Living Waters Gospel Group, Wendell Rainwater, William Blair, Larry Wilson, and Robert Campbell

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested expressions of sympathy may be in the form of donations to Gideon Bibles and Harden Cemetery and can be made at the funeral home.

Donald Wooley

Donald “Donnie” T. Wooley, 64, of Mannsville, Kentucky, son of Bonnie Cox Wooley and the late Shirley Fred Wooley was born March 28th, 1959 in Campbellsville, KY, and departed this life on November 9th, 2023 at Norton Hospital in Louisville.

Donald united in marriage to Ms. Donna Ann Huddleston on July 9th, 1977. She survives. He professes faith in Christ and was a member of Jones Chapel United Methodist Church. He enjoyed farming, country music, and raising exotic animals. He liked going to horse and mule sales.

Besides his wife and mother, Donald is survived by:
Four children: Jason Wooley and his fiancé, Trina Stearman, of Mannsville; Rachel Purvis and her husband, George, of Campbellsville; Richard Wooley and his wife, Ashley, of Mannsville; and Michael Wooley II of Mannsville
Six grandchildren: Blake Purvis of Elizabethtown; Dakota Purvis of Hodgenville; Noelle Purvis of Campbellsville; Cole Mann of Campbellsville; Sophie Mann of Campbellsville; and Jameson Wooley of Mannsville
Two brothers and one sister: Arnie Wooley and his wife, Tina, of Mannsville; Ronnie Wooley and his wife, Judy, of Campbellsville; and Faye Wicker and her husband, Larry, of Mannsville

Donald was preceded in death by:
One son, Michael Wooley
One grandson, Grayson Wooley
One brother, Roger “Buck” Wooley

Gayla Ann Benningfield, 52, of Lebanon, Kentucky, daughter of Jeanie Auberry Courtwright and the late Lonnie Delano Courtwright was born September 13th, 1971 in Lebanon, KY, and departed this life on November 9th, 2023 at her home after an extended illness.

Gayla enjoyed going to concerts, playing the piano, and being with her friends.

Cecil Huckaby, 64, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, son of the late Claud Rankins Huckaby and Mary Jane Woolridge Huckaby was born December 15th, 1958 in Campbellsville, KY, and departed this life on October 28th, 2023.

Cecil loved deer hunting and was a good mechanic. He enjoyed working on cars and tractors.

He is survived by:

One brother and four sisters: Bert Huckaby of Campbellsville; Frances Foster and her husband, Phil, of Ohio; Joyce Harmon and her husband, Ernest, of Columbia; Peggy Huckaby of Campbellsville; and Sue Ray of Greensburg

Wayne Emerson, 83, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, son of the late Tommy Emerson and Mattie McElroy Emerson was born January 13th, 1940 in Liberty, KY, and departed this life on October 26th, 2023 at Taylor Regional Hospital.

He united in marriage to Ms. Betty Ann Allen on June 30th, 1973. She survives. He recently professed faith in Christ and loved gardening. Wayne was a retired heavy machinery operator. He worked for Elmo Greer, Ruby Construction, Hayden Brothers, and many others through the years.

Besides his wife, he is survived by:

Three sisters and one brother: Eula Ford; Velma Martin and her husband, Marvin; Imogene Hayes; and Dale Emerson, all of Campbellsville

Five brothers-in-law and four sisters-in-law: Carper Hayes of Campbellsville; Jim Allen of Indianapolis; Bob Allen and his wife, Virginia, of Indianapolis; Dean Allen and his wife, Tracy, of Leitchfield; Danny “Pete” Allen of Leitchfield; Rebecca Emory and her fiancé, Ron, of Arizona; Tonda Cooper of Indianapolis; Brenda Branch and her husband, Rick, of Indianapolis; and Phyliss Lee and her husband, Brian, of Indianapolis

Wayne was preceded in death by:

One son, Russell Dewayne Emerson

One sister, Leona Hayes

Two brothers-in-law: Buford Hayes and Billy Ford
