Mary Alice Johnson, 83, of Liberty, Kentucky, daughter of the late Clarence Lewis Henderson and Dora Ellen Shofner Henderson was born January 11th, 1941, in Campbellsville, Kentucky, and departed this life on Monday, April 22nd, 2024 at Liberty Care and Rehab in Liberty.
Mary was united in marriage to Mr. Roland Johnson on June 14th, 1980. He preceded her in death on September 6th, 2023.
Mary enjoyed quilting, listening to music, and singing. She loved going to church. Mary professed faith in Christ and attended Full Gospel Deliverance Church.
Mary is survived by:
Five children: Janet Hilbert and her husband, Dennis, of Bardstown; Doug Dobson and his wife, Brenda, of Lebanon; Barry Dobson and his wife, Michelle, of Campbellsville; Ronnie Dobson and his wife, Becky, of Houstonville; and Sharon Hilbert and her husband, Mark, of Louisville
Seventeen grandchildren
Thirty-three great-grandchildren
One sister, Ruth Ann Davidson and her husband, Jamie, of Burkesville
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by:
One son, Steven Dobson on April 17th, 1972
VISITATION: Friday, April 26th, 2024, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm EST at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville.
FUNERAL: Friday, April 26th, 2024, at 1:00 pm EST at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville. Bro. Marvin Hatton will be officiating the service with burial to follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
PALLBEARERS: Abe Fair, Matthew Fair, Chris Garmon, Stephen Dobson, Wayne Dobson, Adam Dobson, Andrew Dobson, and Brett Dobson

Hettie Lee Jacobs, 76, of Bradfordsville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Henry Lee Thomas Gribbin and Janice Ray Bocash was born July 23rd, 1947, in Mt. Washington, Kentucky, and departed this life on April 22nd, 2024.
Hettie united in marriage to Mr. James Ernest Jacobs, he preceded her in death on March 29th, 2005.
Hettie enjoyed watching TV. She loved flowers, with day lilies being her favorite. Hettie professed faith in Christ.
Hettie is survived by:
Her son, Jon Jacobs and his significant other, Katie Behringer, of Bradfordsville

Ervin Lee “Al” Wheeler Sr, 79, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, son of the late Henry Wheeler and Ada Gray Barfield Wheeler was born August 8th, 1944, in Wilson, NC, and departed this life on April 18th, 2024.
Al united in marriage to Ms. Fran Wheeler in May 1972. She preceded him in death in March 2010. He later united in marriage to Ms. Neva Gentry on September 29th, 2018. She survives.
Al served his country proudly in the Air Force for 20 years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Al is survived by:
Five children: Tom Bodden, Tami Bragg, Lee Wheeler, Kim Wise, and Penny Couling
Eight grandchildren: Samantha Bragg, Alexandra Bragg, Brie Wheeler, Sion Smith, Seth Smith, Blake McDonald, Tanner Couling, and Jessica Gore
Two sisters: Evelyn Joyner and Connie Moore

Marion Howard, 70, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, son of the late Noble E. Howard and Marsha
Hammonds Howard, was born August 4th, 1953, in Pulaski County, Kentucky. He departed this
life on April 6, 2024, surrounded by his wife, children, and sister.
Marion united in marriage to Carol Horn Howard on April 4, 1992. She survives.
Marion professed faith in Christ and was a faithful member of Campbellsville Baptist Church for
55 years. He was a grain farmer in Taylor County who enjoyed the outdoors and hunting. He
served on the Taylor County Soil Conservation Board for 20 years and was a member of the
Board of Directors for the Taylor County Farm Bureau Federation for 23 years. Marion was a
gifted athlete who was best known for his baseball career. His nickname was “Racehorse” or
“Horse.” He pitched for Campbellsville High School from 1968 to 1971 and was inducted into
their Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2021. Upon graduating from CHS, he earned a scholarship
to pitch for the University of Kentucky baseball team from 1971 to 1975. He loved to support his
children and grandchildren at their own sporting events and other activities.
Marion is survived by:
Four daughters and one son: Melissa Payton and her husband, Dallas, of Campbellsville; Kelli
Shuffett and her husband, Don, of Campbellsville; Clark Howard and his wife, Lindsey, of
Campbellsville; Dr. Hannah Howard of Lexington; and Payton Howard of Hattiesburg, MS; and
one stepdaughter, Ashleigh Bailey of Lexington
Six grandchildren: Kyler Tucker of Miami, Florida; Jacob Hayes, Luke Hayes, Sophie Hayes,
Griffin Howard, and Grant Howard, all of Campbellsville
Two sisters: Beverly Noe and her husband, Larry, of Brentwood, TN; Mitzi Tedder and her
husband, Terry, of Campbellsville
Visitation: Thursday, April 11th, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and from 7:00 a.m. until the
time of service on Friday, April 12th at Campbellsville Baptist Church in Campbellsville.
Funeral: Friday, April 12th, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Campbellsville Baptist Church in
Campbellsville with burial to follow in Brookside Cemetery. Dr. Dwayne Norman will be
officiating.

Danny Shiplett, 73, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, son of the late Warren George Shiplett and Grace Irene Coy Shiplett was born August 29th, 1950, in Michigan, and departed this life on April 2nd, 2024 at T. J. Sampson Community Hospital in Glasgow.
