Marie Prater of Greensburg, KY, the daughter of Jennie Metcalfe Rigdon of Alabama, and the late Lee Roy Rigdon, was born on January 28, 1946, in Hardin County, KY, and departed this life on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at the Green Hill Nursing and Rehab. She was 78 years of age.
She was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker.
Besides her mother, Jennie Metcalfe Rigdon, she is survived by five children: Greg Rigdon (Peggy) of Campbellsville, Lisa Puckett of Sonora, Roy Tanner (Lydia) of Rineyville, Billy Prater and Wayne Prater both of Alabama, along with a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers: Elmer Rigdon (Brenda) of Buffalo, and Carroll Lee Rigdon (Vicki) of Elizabethtown.
Besides her father, she was preceded in death by two children: Michael Richards and Connie Rigdon, a sister: Diane Howell, and a brother Charles Edward “Eddie” Rigdon.
There will be a memorial service for Marie Prater on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel.
The family has requested visitation on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home.

Sharon Sharp of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late Harold Milby and Rosie Elmore Milby, was born on November 4, 1952 and departed this life on Friday, June 7, 2024, at her residence. She was 71 years of age.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Palestine Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of Fruit of The Loom, loved farming and worked in insurance. She volunteered with Hospice. She enjoyed camping, yard sales, collecting, fishing, quilting and sewing, doing crafts, and was the best cook, and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband: Randall Sharp of Campbellsville, and three children: Shanon Clark of Campbellsville, Beth Wilson (Terry) of Lebanon, and Todd “Precious” Sharp (Brandie) of Campbellsville.
Ten grandchildren: Devan Wasson, Ashleigh Knopp (Travis), Austin Yates, Presley Wilson, Bobby Wilson, Priscilla Wilson, Savanna Cowherd (Jordan), McKynzee Scott (Jacob), Keegan Zulager, Rylee Zulager, and five great-grandchildren: Jackson Knopp, Noah Knopp, Annabelle Knopp, Lucy Knopp, and Lena Scott. One expected great-grandchild: Baby Cowherd.
Also surviving is one brother: Mike Milby, Sr. of Campbellsville and many nieces and nephews who she cared for and loved very deeply.
Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother: Doris Adele Keltner, Sue Southern, Brenda Marcum, and Holland Milby.
There will be a funeral service for Sharon Sharp on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Bro. Jason Keltner and Bro. Thomas Metcalfe will officiate.
The family has requested visitation on Monday, June 10, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Serving as Pallbearers will be her grandsons, and Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters.

Lula Candis Baldwin of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late John D. Bolt and Eliza Ellender Rich Bolt was born on June 20, 1938 and departed this life on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab. She was 85 years of age.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Fruit of The Loom. She loved cooking, fishing, sewing and quilting, and loved to travel. Lula was a fun, loving, and wonderful person. She was Mom. She was Mamaw. She was loved.
She united in marriage to Bradley Ansel Baldwin on January 8, 1955, and he preceded her in death in 2002.
Survivors include six children: Jimmy Baldwin (Marian), Mike Baldwin (Lisa), Judy Hampton, Jennifer Graham (Frankie), Shirley Burress, Denise Graham (Marshall), and a step-daughter: Ann Nunn all of Campbellsville. One daughter-in-law: Tammy Baldwin of Mt. Washington.
Also surviving are nineteen grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren. One sister: Gladys Hughes of Liberty, and a host of special friends at the Taylor County Senior Citizens Center.
Besides her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by one son: Sherrill Randall Baldwin, and six brothers and sisters: Nathan Bolt, Thurman Bolt, Okie Matherly, Betty Wilson, Zola Lee, and Bobby Dean Bolt.
There will be a funeral service for Lula Candis Baldwin on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Callahan Cemetery.
Bro. Doug Baldwin and Dr. Jay Barnett will officiate.
The family has requested visitation on Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home and after 9 AM on Sunday.
Pallbearers: Bradley Baldwin, Mike Baldwin Jr., Andy Baldwin, Tony Hampton, Bobby Graham, Ryan Baldwin, Todd Burress, and Chad Burress.

Paul Leonard Adams of Campbellsville, KY, the son of David Wayne Adams and the late Kitty Wells Adams, was born July 17, 1974, in Louisville, and departed this life on Saturday, June 1, 2024, in Campbellsville, KY. He was 49 years of age.
He was of the Christian Faith and was employed at Mattingly Security as a Security Guard. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting of all kinds. His family says that he was the “best husband”, “was a laid back and gentle soul”, and “was the toughest man that ever lived”. He absolutely loved spending time with his family and would’ve done anything they asked of him.
Survivors include his loving wife of twenty-six years: Jennifer Burley Adams of Campbellsville, Six children: Jake Noel of Lebanon, Raelyn Wilson and husband Alex of Campbellsville, Paul Adams II of Lebanon, Raven Adams and significant other Jason Agee, Xavior Adams, and Gabriel Adams all of Campbellsville. One granddaughter: Juniper Irene Matthis, and one expected grandchild.
Three brothers: David W. Adams, Jr. of Lexington, Joshua Adams of Campbellsville, and Ryan Adams of Elizabethtown.
Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Clareasa Ellen “Lisa” Adams, and Priscilla Adams.
There will be a funeral service for Paul Leonard Adams on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Mt. Washington Cemetery.
The family has requested visitation on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.

Richard Lynn “Ricky” Brown of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late James Brown and Myrtie Taylor Brown, was born December 9, 1961, and departed this life on Sunday, May 26, 2024, in Campbellsville, KY. He was 62 years of age.
He was of the Baptist Faith and attended Calvary Baptist Church. He was a builder and the owner of Brown Construction. He enjoyed watching westerns, talking with friends, flea markets, grilling, and spending time with family.
Survivors include one son: Richard “Bubby” Brown, Jr., and his wife Myra of Greensburg. Nine sisters: Patty Milby, Clara Bagby, Betty Farmer, Mable Houston, Kathy Sharp (Joe), Beverly Brown, Deanna Bland, and Rhonda Dickens, all of Campbellsville, James Lewis Brown of Greensburg, and Susie Riggs (Richard) of Lebanon.
Also surviving are six grandchildren: Remy Brown, Caselynn Brown, Lyrik Marr, Micahla Sears, Jayla Crask, and Ryan Sears. Nine great-grandchildren, and a special friend Mary Gray of Campbellsville.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters: Billy Ray “Goat” Brown, Pearl Turpin, and Emma Lee.
There will be a funeral service for Richard Lynn “Ricky” Brown on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
