Dorothy Mae Keltner, 81

Dorothy Mae Keltner of Knoxville, formerly of Campbellsville, the daughter of the late Lilburn and Mary Irene (Murphy) Daugherty and departed this life on Saturday, February 3, 2024 in Knoxville at the Oakwood Senior Living. She was 81 years of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Methodist Faith.

Dorothy was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom, a medical assistant and retired from Verizon.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters: Donald Daugherty, Barbara Hood and Shirley Ann Miskell.

Survivors include a daughter: Jennifer Harris and husband Bill of Knoxville and Steven Keltner of Bowling Green; three sisters: Mary Jane Brown of Tennessee, Brenda Rayner and husband Lee of Campbellsville and Vickie Miller and husband Norman of Florida; a brother: James Daugherty and wife Juanita of Alabama and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A graveside service for Dorothy Mae Keltner will be Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens with interment to follow.

Rev. Freddy Thompson will be officiating.

There will be no PUBLIC visitation prior to the service

Wendell Warren Obituary

Wendell Warren of Campbellsville, the son of the late William Bud Warren and Helena Close Warren, was born June 5, 1948, in Kewanee, IL, and departed this life on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Taylor Regional Hospital.  He was 75 years of age.

He was of the Presbyterian Faith He was a retired truck driver for Landstar and had also driven for Fruit of the Loom using the CB radio handle “Pantyman”. He enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, boating, smoking cigars, and shooting guns. He was a very social person and to know him was to love him. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force in Vietnam and Thailand. He was also a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by Betty Coomer Warren, his wife and constant companion, having united in marriage on April 23, 1971. Also surviving are two children: Denise Benningfield (Tim) of Lebanon, and Wesley Warren (Chasity) of Campbellsville. Three grandchildren: Taylor Smith (Joe), Lydia Walden (Travis), Sydney Johnson, and companion Masyn Cobb. Six great-grandchildren: Annabelle, Max, Drake, Hayes, Hudson, and Emery. Three step-grandchildren: James Dylan, Jarett, and Mariah, and three step-great-grandchildren: Addie, Lively, and Avery.

Also surviving are two sisters: Vickie Yount (Tommy) of Taylorsville, and Terri Germain (Steve) of Freeport, FL.

There will be a funeral service for Wendell Warren at 11 A.M. Saturday, February 10, 2024, at L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens

 Father Bradley Pace and Bro. Kevin Shirrell will officiate.

The family requests visitation on Friday, February 9, 2024, from 5 P. M. to 8 P. M. at the funeral home.

Joseph Randall Luckett, 85

Joseph Randall Luckett, of Lebanon, KY, the son of the late Charles Clifton Luckett and Rebecca Josephine Abell Luckett, was born September 1, 1938, in Marion County, KY, and departed this life on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at The Village of Lebanon.  He was 85 years of age.

He was of the Catholic Faith and attended St. Augustine Catholic Church.  He was a farmer and former chairman of the Soil Conservation Committee and enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandchildren. He was a veteran having served his country honorably in the United States Army.

He united in marriage to Bonnie Louise Maupin Luckett on December 26, 1959, who survives. Also surviving are three children: Kim Jarvis of Lebanon, Joe Luckett of St. Petersburg, FL, and Jill Luckett of Berea, KY. Three grandchildren: Danielle Lewis (Ben), Rebekah Hudson (Brewster), and Haylee Connelly (Ethan). Three great-grandchildren: Pearl Jarvis, Sam Lewis, and Stella Lewis along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Three sisters and one brother: Leona Lee of Lebanon, Jerry Luckett of Atlanta, GA, Myrtle Fisher of Louisville, KY, and Janis Ambs of Dallas, TX.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter: Jennifer Angelini, and two brothers: Bernard Luckett and Lawrence Luckett

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for Joseph Randall Luckett at 11 A.M. Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Lebanon KY.

The family requests visitation at the church on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. with burial to follow Mass in the St. Augustine Catholic Church Cemetery.

* Anyone wanting to attend the burial is welcome to walk over following the Mass.

Ronnie Dale Hadley, 76

Ronnie Dale Hadley, of Campbellsville, the son of the late Leon Hadley and Naomi Oleda (McDaniel) Hadley Curry was born December 31, 1947 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Saturday, February 3, 2024 in Campbellsville at the Taylor Regional Hospital. He was 76 years of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Campbellsville First Church of God.

Ronnie was a former hardware and lumber clerk at Don’s Lumber in Greensburg and enjoyed crossword puzzles, music, singing at his church, writing poems, and experiencing nature, but most of all his family.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Lois June Phillippe.

Survivors include his wife: Janice (Short) Hadley; his children: Melissa Shelton and husband Gregory and Jason Hadley and wife Christee; a brother and two sisters: Gary Hadley and wife Sue, Joanetta Hadley and Marilyn Martin and husband Scott and a grandson: Joshua Shelton and a host of other relatives and friends.

Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Mary Lee Jones, 83

Mary Lee Jones, of Campbellsville, the daughter of the late Clell and Dorothy (Lasson) Scroggins, was born April 16, 1940 in Springfield, Illinois and departed this life on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 in Campbellsville at her home. She was 83 years of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Dunnville Church of God. Mrs. Jones was a homemaker and former school bus driver for Taylor County Schools.

Mary loved singing and was always sharing her love for the Lord every place she went, whether it be at church or on the street.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Delmar Jones; three children: David Allen Jones, Stephanie Michelle Jones and Jewel Broadhurst; a sister: Pamela Scroggins and a brother: Clell Scroggins, Jr.

Survivors include two sons and two daughters: Delmar Ray Jones and companion Lisa, Billy Lee Jones, Crickett Richardson and husband Todd and Mary Kathleen Milby all of Campbellsville; a sister: Maxine Moore of California; seventeen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and special friends: Betty Woodrum, Stacy and Larry Pittman and Candy Wilson and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Mary Lee Jones will be Sunday, February 4, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Elliot Cemetery.
