Danny Lewis Hunt, of Campbellsville, the son of the late Charles E. Hunt and Frances Fawcett Hunt, was born July 27, 1961 in Campbellsville and departed this life on Saturday, January 13, 2024 in Louisville. He was 62 years of age.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Palestine Baptist Church. He was a veteran having served his country in the United States Navy. He was an electronic technician and was an installer of security systems and cameras in businesses and automobiles.
He is survived by one brother and one sister: Charles Douglas Hunt and wife Roxie of Glasgow, and Debbie Oliver and husband David of Bardstown along with a host of nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service to honor the life of Danny Lewis Hunt on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Bro. Freddy Thompson will officiate.

Mr. Arthur Virgil Esarey of Campbellsville passed from this life on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at the Taylor Regional Hospital. Born in Louisville on July 17, 1980, he was 43 years of age. He was a 1999 graduate of Campbellsville High School and was of the Christian faith. Mr. Esarey loved to fish and was an avid University of Louisville and Baltimore Ravens fan. He eagerly looked forward to Thanksgiving dinner cooked by his Aunt Mary. He always made sure to tell his friends “Love you brother”. His genuine kind and gentle spirit will be long remembered by all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memory:
Two aunts: Carmella Esarey (Sherri Davis) and Mary Ann Esarey,
Cousins: Joshua “EZ” Esarey (Samantha) and Jonathon Daniel Esarey,
A great aunt: Darlene Crone (Skip),
And a host of extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Ellen Esarey, two uncles, Dale Esarey and Michael Esarey, and his great-grandmother, Doris Esarey Perkins.
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Esarey on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY.
Dustin Pendleton and Conley Pendleton will officiate.
Cremation will be accorded him following the service.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, Jan. 13, after 11:00 AM until the time for the service.

Steve McAllister, of Campbellsville, the son of the late William Robert and Annie (Richards) McAllister, was born January 17, 1941 in Columbia and departed this life on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 in Louisville at the Jewish Hospital. He was 82 years of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the South Campbellsville Baptist Church where he served at a deacon for many years and was a Veteran, having served in the United States Army.
Steve owned and operated Wishy Washy laundromat on Main Street in Campbellsville and was a washer and dryer repairman.
He enjoyed playing and singing gospel music, playing golf, but most of all, he loved to spend time with his grand and great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Steven Wayne McAllister; a grandson: J.T. Holmes; eight brothers and sisters: Garnett, Ed, Charles, Robert McAllister, Lorene Dohoney, Elaine Hagood, Evelyn Ann ‘Sissy” Nickens and one infant.
Survivors include his wife: Anna (Good) McAllister; a daughter: Angie Holmes; three grandchildren: Trista Wood and husband Cory, Aaron Schwoebel and wife Sarah, Mariah Holmes; four great-grandchildren: Kyndall Wood, Rhilynn Wood, Kamryn Schwoebel and Brantlee Wood and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Steve McAllister will be Sunday, January 7, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Brookside Cemetery.
Bro. John Nguyen and Bro. Jim Durham will be officiating.
Visitation after 12 Noon on Sunday until time for the service.

Jeannie Gail Davis, the daughter of the late Billie Dickens and Juanita Pierce Perkins was born September 15, 1957 and departed this life on Monday, January 1, 2024 at Taylor Regional Hospital. She was 66 years of age.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed animals and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She united in marriage to Tim Davis who survives.
Also surviving are four children: Joey Hunt and wife Amy, Landon Morgan, Tamara Tims and husband Dan, and Eddie Davis and fiancé Teri all of Campbellsville.
Also, seven grandchildren: Whitney Floyd-Brockman (Chase), Maddie Hunt, Paige Tims, Dalton Tims, Blayne Davis, Brayce Davis, And John Morgan. Four great-grandchildren: Nevaeh, Bentley, Addisyn, and Kinsley
Her Mother–in-law Maxine Davis, and a special friend, Kay Agee of Campbellsville.
Two sisters: Carol Beard and companion Jimmy of Summersville, and Sandra Dickens of Glasgow.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by one great-granddaughter: Ember Faith Brockman
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Jeannie Gail Davis on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Brookside Cemetery.
Bro. Freddy Thompson and Bro. Bill Perkins will officiate.
The family requests visitation on Wednesday January 3, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Thomas “Tommy” Williams Obituary
Thomas Lee Williams (Tommy), 80, of Kingsport, passed away peacefully at home on December 30, 2023 following a period of declining health. Tommy was born in Louisville, KY on January 6, 1943. He was raised in Campbellsville, KY where he married his wife of 61 years, Nancy Peters Williams in December of 1962. Together, they relocated to Great Falls, Montana where Tommy served at Malmstrom Air Force Base. There, he was called into the ministry, so they returned to Campbellsville, KY where he later graduated from Campbellsville College.
In the years following his ordination, he served as pastor of Raikes Hill Baptist Mission, Bradfordsville Baptist Church, and Turner Ridge Baptist Church, all in KY. He later pastored Fort Robinson Baptist Church here in Kingsport. After retiring from pastoring, Tommy worked at Lifeway Christian Store in Johnson City. He and Nancy are current members of First Baptist Church in Church Hill.
Tommy dedicated his life to the Lord and his family. He was always looking for a joke, a laugh or sneaking sweets behind Nancy’s back.
Tommy was a loving husband to his wife Nancy and father to his son, David (deceased) and his daughter, Dena Williams Porter (Bond Porter) He was a loving grandfather to Maggie and her husband Michael Whitely and Analee and Isabelle Porter. He was the son of Jessie Isabel Young Williams Hash Wood and Percy Thomas Wiliams of KY, both deceased. Tommy had two siblings, Rita Hash Moyers (Ernie) and Sam Hash, both still living in Campbellsville.
The family would like to give special thanks to all of the caregivers from Smoky Mountain Hospice and also to the ministry of Meals on Wheels of Kingsport.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
