Harry Laverne Gill of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late Lonnie and Clara (Morgan) Gill, was born June 29, 1942 in Brookhaven, Mississippi and departed this life on Tuesday, January 28, 2024 in Louisville at the Baptist Hospital East surrounded by his loved ones. He was 82 years of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Temple and was a master plumber.
He enjoyed golfing, rabbit and bird hunting, karaoke, gardening, fishing and a jack of all trades and could fix anything.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Earl Gill and Alton Gill.
Survivors include two sons: Kerry Brian Gill and Gregory Scott Gill and wife Amanda all of Campbellsville; a sister: Joy Gill Smith of Brookhaven, Mississippi.
Also three grandchildren: Tanya Gill, Joseph Gill and companion Tonya Whitlock and Erin Bailey and husband Jonathan; four great-grandchildren: Jacob Gill, Payton Simpson, Remington Gill and Ruger Gill and one expectant great-grandchild; special niece and nephews: Cynthia Phillips, Ronnie Smith and Douglas Smith and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Harry Laverne gill will be Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Family requests visitation after 10:00 A.M. Saturday until time for the service.

Roseanne Mary Smith of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late Charles Laurenston and Mary (Ziemba) Clark, was born October 26, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York and departed this life on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 in Elizabethtown at the Baptist Health Hardin. She was 81 years of age.
She enjoyed crocheting, K-Drama, and spending time with family and friends.
She was a “tough cookie” having fought cancer three different time. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and best friend to Haley.
She was an administrative assistant and was of the Catholic Faith.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son: Dennis Kruger; a brother and a sister: Richard Clark and Marilyn Clark and Dorothy Jowaizas of New Jersey.
Survivors include two daughters: Teresa Bosse and husband Don of Florida and Rose Carter of Campbellsville; two brothers and a sister: Charles Clark and Fred Clark, both of New York.
Also twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
To honor the request of Roseanne, cremation rites were entrusted to
L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville.

Shirley Elaine Burress, of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late Bradley Ansel and Lula Candis (Bolt) Baldwin was born January 3, 1963, in Louisville and departed this life on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, in Nashville at Vanderbilt University Hospital. She was 62 years of age.
She was a former employee of Fruit of The Loom and OshKosh B’gosh. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church. She enjoyed bingo, church, sewing, quilting, and spending time with her family and her grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin brother: Sherrill Randall Baldwin, and a great-granddaughter: Luna Bollman.
Survivors include two sons: Todd Burress and Chad Burress and wife Melody all of Campbellsville. Five grandchildren: Felicity Smothers (Kenzie), Emily Kerns, Izak Burress, Madison Burress, and Octavia Burress. Two great-grandchildren: Olivia Bollman, and Ashton Bollman.
Also two brothers and three sisters: Jimmy Baldwin (Marian), Mike Baldwin (Lisa), Judy Hampton, Jennifer Graham (Frankie), Denise Graham (Marshall) all of Campbellsville and a half-sister, Ann Nunn of Greensburg, and a sister-in-law, Tammy Baldwin of Mt. Washington, and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Shirley Elaine Burress will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 27, 2025, at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with interment in the Callahan Cemetery at Elk Horn.
Bro. Doug Baldwin will be officiating
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
In Lieu of Flowers the family request donations to the funeral expense fund and those can be made at the funeral home.

Bernice Nolley Spurling of Campbellsville was born on April 28, 1938, and passed peacefully from this life on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at her home. She was 86 years of age.
She was the daughter of the late Wilson Nolley and Elsie Irene Benningfield Nolley.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended East Campbellsville Church of God and was a homemaker. She was a former employee of Big K, Wal-Mart, and was a babysitter. She loved talking on the phone, playing Rook, Facebook, cooking, yard sales and auctions, couponing, and especially spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Edwin Spurling in 2021, and her brother, Joseph Darrell Nolley in 1966.
Survivors include three daughters: Sharon Spurling and husband Harry Reif of Campbellsville, Sandra Spurling Morris and husband Mark T. of Campbellsville, and Sabrina Spurling Young and husband Tracy of Hendersonville, TN. Three grandchildren: Suzanne Bennett and husband Andrew J., Sara Drury and husband Cody, and Tyler Young, and three great-grandchildren: Lincoln, Nellie, and Merryn Drury, Four siblings: Jackie Nolley (Gae) of Campbellsville, Judy Murphy and Bonnie Benningfield (Clyde) of Lebanon, and Frances Reynolds (Charles) of Bardstown, along with a host of extended family and friends.
The funeral service for Bernice Nolley Spurling will be on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home.
Bro. Andrew John-Austin Bennett will be officiating.
The family has requested visitation on Sunday after 12:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
A private burial will be held on Monday, January 27, 2025, in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Miss Sadie Mae Key of Campbellsville, KY, the precious infant daughter of Elijah Scott Key and Haley Gail Mitchell Key was born in Lebanon, KY, on October 8, 2024, and departed this life on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville at the age of three months and ten days.
She was loved and adored by all who knew her, and was affectionately known by her immediate family as “Mae Mae” or “Daddy’s little fat girl”. She loved to eat since the moment she was born.
Besides her parents, she is survived by her beautiful twin sister Charlotte Key, and her big brother Jaxton Key. Her grandparents: Missy Mitchell of Campbellsville, Michael Mitchell and Brandy Thompson, Scott Key (Valerie) of Campbellsville, and Melissa Davis (Terry) of Columbia. Her great-grandparents: Sissy McGill (Darren) of Eminence, KY, Billy and Janice Mattingly of Campbellsville, and Thomas Key of Elk Horn.
Also surviving are several aunts and uncles: Chloe and Jacob Gabehart, Nate and Kenzie Mitchell, Peyton Mitchell, Amanda Mattingly, Robby and Jessica Key, Alyssa and Brennon Wheeler, Breah and Ryan Johnson, Kayden Keith, Willie Key, and many other relatives.
She was preceded in death by great-grandparents: Jewell “Tootie” Pruyear, Elbert “Peewee” Pruyear, Charlotte “Granny” Key, and Larry Worley.
The Funeral Service for Miss Sadie Mae Key will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel in Campbellsville with burial to follow in the Mt. Washington Cemetery.
The family has requested visitation on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the family, which may be made directly to the family.
