Delbert Lee “Peanut” Dotson of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late Jake Dotson and Bessie Martin Dotson, was born June 25, 1943 in Larue County, KY and departed this life on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at the Grandview Nursing and Rehab in Campbellsville, KY. He was 80 years of age.
He was a farmer and had done construction and sawmill work. He enjoyed fishing, listening to country music, his dog Taco, and visiting with family and friends. He was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by one sister: Helen Wooldridge of Campbellsville. Thirty nieces and nephews and a host of other friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers: Floyd Dotson, Gibb, Dotson, Raymond Dotson, Odell Dotson, John Henry Dotson, Willie Arvin Dotson, and Walter Gene Dotson. One sister: Glenda Dennison. One niece and nephew.
There will be a funeral service for Delbert Lee “Peanut” Dotson on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 1 P.M. EST at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel, 1765 New Columbia Road in Campbellsville, KY with burial to follow in the Otter Creek Cemetery.
Bro. Raymon Hollins will officiate.
The family request visitation Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 11 A.M. – 1 P.M. EST at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to be in the form of donations to the funeral expense fund and can be made at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Jewell Dotson, Blake Dotson, Bobby Kirtley, Kevin Davis, Dale Price, and Craig Sprowles.
Honorary Pallbearers: Mark Janes and Tristen Dotson.

William Garrett “Johnny” Amburgey of Shepherdsville, KY, the son of the late Balford Amburgey and Virginia Ritchie Amburgey, was born June 15, 1946 in Knott County, KY and departed this life on Monday, October 2, 2023 at Baptist Health in Louisville, KY. He was 77 years of age.
He had been employed as a coal miner and in his free time he loved to hunt and fish. He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his wife: Diane Ritchie Amburgey, Two sons: James Everett Amburgey and wife Ashley, and Johnny Wayne Amburgey all of Shepherdsville, KY. One grandson: Donovan Everett Amburgey.
There will be a funeral service for William Garrett “Johnny” Amburgey on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 1 P.M. EST at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel, 1765 New Columbia Road in Campbellsville, KY with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Nona Warren Parrish, of Campbellsville, the daughter of the late W.C. Warren and June (Wilson) Warren-Sluder, was born October 30, 1950 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at her home. She was 72 years of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Beech Grove Baptist Church and was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and Clarcor, both in Campbellsville.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Bobby Lee “Pete” Parrish; three brothers: Mark Warren, Marvin Warren and Charlie “David” Warren.
Survivors include a daughter and son: Leanne Parrish and Chris Parrish and wife Regina, all of Campbellsville.
Also three grandchildren: Megan Burress, Matthew Parrish and wife Salena and Whitney Houchens; three great-grandchildren: Keylee Parrish, Addie Burress and Karlie Jo Parrish and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Nona Warren Parrish will be Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Rev. Freddy Thompson will be officiating
Family requests visitation after 10:30 A.M. on Saturday until time for the service.

Obituary
Marsha Beard of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late George Hockings and Edna Waldvogel Hockings, was born January 13, 1947 in Chicago, IL and departed this life on Friday, September 22, 2023 in Campbellsville, KY. She was 76 years of age.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed watching the Chicago Bears play football.
She is survived by her husband Richard Beard and two sons: Richard Beard Jr. and wife Michelle of Indiana, and Brett Beard and wife Jamie of Illinois. One brother: William Hockings of Florida, and two grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister: Donna Nelson.
The family has chosen cremation and there will be no services.

Michael Austin Harvey, of Lexington, formerly of Taylor County, the son of the late Austin and Bernice (Hitch) Harvey, was born June 13, 1958 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at his home. He was 65 years of age.
He was a construction worker, mainly roofing.
He united to Deborah Stone, who preceded him in death.
Survivors include three sisters: Donna Beckley of Springfield, Gail Keltner and husband Doug of Greensburg and Lucretia Bottoms and companion: Bryan Mullins of Campbellsville.
Also surviving are seven nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
The service for Michael Austin Harvey will be private and his final resting place will be in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery at breeding, KY along with his parents.
