Judy Mae Mullins

Judy Mae Mullins of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late Oval Edwin Warren and Lorena (Chaudoin) Warren, was born on September 16, 1941 in Green County, KY and departed this life on Saturday, December 7,  2024 at her home after a long battle with cancer.

Judy leaves behind a daughter, Sonia Machelle Rogers Manuel of Campbellsville; a sister, Cheryl Dudgeon of Campbellsville; a brother, Charles Warren of Summersville and a host of beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald C. Mullins and two sisters, Maxine Hinton and Peggy Beams.

The funeral service for Judy Mullins will be Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 1:00PM EST in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with interment in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Family requests visitation after 10 AM Wednesday until time for the funeral service.

Dallas Ray Cornett

Mr. Dallas Ray Cornett of Campbellsville passed peacefully from this life on Friday, December 6, 2024, at his home. He was born in Wautaga County, North Carolina to the late Andy and Rose (Dugger) Cornett on December 31, 1939. He was 84 years of age. Mr. Cornett was a dedicated employee of P.C. Clark Supply for 41 years and was a knowledgeable sales clerk. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Green River Memorial Baptist Church with his wife. He loved his family and friends but was especially proud of his grandson.

He leaves to cherish his memory:

His wife: Nellie (Thompson) Cornett,

A daughter: Rosalyn McCandless and companion Barry Pyles,

A chosen daughter: Susan Despain,

Three siblings: Ivan Cornett, Nancy Cornett, and Lucille Clark,

His grandson: Cody Eastridge,

And a host of extended family members and friends.

He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jolana Eastridge.

   There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Cornett on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd.

Bro. Jamie Bennett will officiate. Burial will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

   The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, Dec. 10, from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.

   In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials in the form of donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Dianna Dicken, 62

Mrs. Dianna Joyce Dicken of Campbellsville passed from this life on Monday, December 2, 2024, in Louisville at the UofL Jewish Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Taylor County on July 17, 1962 to the late John and Mayme (Sprowles) Underwood, she was 62 years of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.

   She leaves to cherish her memory:

Three children: April Berry and husband Danny, Jeffrey Adam Dicken, and Jennifer Hicks-Ray, all of Campbellsville,

Three siblings: Ray Underwood, Kathy Hicks, and Phillip Underwood and wife Cindy,

One stepbrother: Billie Bell,

Her companion: David Harris,

Six grandchildren: Weston Veltman, Benzley Berry, Lynnix Dicken, Avery Rose Dicken, and Addison Dicken,

Her beloved fur babies: Gizmo, Ellie, and Crybaby,

And a host of extended family and friends.

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by three siblings: Delbert Bell, Danny Underwood, and Susan Watson.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Dicken at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, December 9, 2024, in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville. Interment will follow in the Palestine Baptist Church Cemetery immediately following.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.

Della Mae Damron

Della Mae Damron of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late George E. Maynard Sr. and Opal Baisden Maynard was born on March 12, 1947, in West Virginia and departed this life on Sunday, December 1, 2024, in New Albany, IN. She was 77 years of age.

She was of the Church of God faith and retired from the Fruit of The Loom set sleeve department after 25 years. She enjoyed UK basketball, music and singing, and playing rook and rummy.

She is survived by her two children: Sherry Damron-Arnett and husband JD of Magnolia, and Rev. Jay Damron and his wife Cindy of Edmonton, KY. Eight grandchildren: Shawn McCubbins, Andrea Megan Whitlow (Brandon), Erica Mattingly, Dylan Arnett, Joshua Damron (Lindsey), Jecca Cyr (Bryan), Clary Quinn, and Jayden Damron. 10 great-grandchildren: Frehley, London, Conner, Rayn, Olivia, Clayton, Madilyn, Clara, Miles, and Ella.

Also surviving is one sister, Debbie Sapp of Campbellsville, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother: Eloise Baker, George Maynard, Jr., Barbara Rose, Corina Sue Bault, and Lois Jean “Toby” Evans.

The funeral service for Della Mae Damron will be on Friday, December 6, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel at 1765 New Columbia Road in Campbellsville with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Rev. Jay Damron will officiate.

The family requested visitation on Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Ronald “Ronnie” Colman Brown

Ronald “Ronnie” Colman Brown of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late Colman Brown and Helen Skaggs Brown was born on June 13, 1945, and departed this life on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, in Campbellsville. He was 79 years of age.

He was of the Baptist Faith and was a farmer. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he was a jokester, a storyteller, and a family man.

He is survived by two sons: Troy Brown of Lexington, and Bobby Brown and his wife Karen of Campbellsville. Two grandchildren: Josh Brown (Linsdey), Kaylee Brown and Fiancé Landon Pike. Four great-grandchildren: Joss Brown, Karter Brown, Wilder Brown, and Kinslee Brown.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Beams, a brother, Robert Wesley Brown, and one grandson, Bryson Skaggs.

The funeral service for Ronald “Ronnie Colman Brown will be on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel at 1765 New Columbia Road in Campbellsville with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
