Arlene Rainwater Herron, daughter of the late Walter Rainwater and Hattie Lee Harrison Rainwater, was born on December 26, 1941 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 2:19 A.M., Tuesday, August 13, 2024 in Campbellsville. Age: 82
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of East Campbellsville Church of God.
Arlene united in marriage to David Herron August 19, 1961 and he preceded her in death June 29, 2003.
She is survived by three daughters and two sons: Rhonda Phillips and husband, Pat, Carla Graham and husband, Tim and Inishia Arnett and husband, Wendell of Campbellsville, Greg Herron and wife, Jana of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Jeffrey Herron of Frankfort; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters: Carolyn Bright and Edith Humphress and husband, Billy of Campbellsville and Joanna Gilbert and husband, Bill of Georgia; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Arlene was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters: Ronnie Rainwater, Douglas Rainwater, Martha Corbin and Marilyn Poff.

Randy McVay, son of the late Russell McVay and Velma Katherine Russell McVay, was born on March 27, 1952 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 6:36 A.M., Tuesday, August 13, 2024 in Campbellsville. Age: 72
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Elk Horn Baptist Church. Randy was also a member of the Emmaus community and had taken mission trips to Honduras with his wife, Mary.
Randy was a professional painter, a retired employee of Ford Motor Company and had also worked at Batesville Casket Company.
He united in marriage to Mary Milby May 1, 1973.
Randy was a good dad and granddad. He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed taking them camping and on vacations. He also enjoyed coaching the kid’s sports teams and cutting up with friends and family. He considered himself a “Ford” man.
Besides his wife, Mary McVay of Campbellsville, Randy is survived by one son and one daughter: Allen McVay and wife, Natalie of Hopkinsville and Andrea Kiernan and husband, Daniel of Brownsville; seven grandchildren: Lily Hartman, Emerson McVay, Cobe McVay, Carlee McVay, Hannah McVay, Allisa McVay and Kourtney McVay; one brother, Tommy McVay and wife, Margaret of Campbellsville; one sister-in-law, Helen McVay of Campbellsville; his beloved fur baby, Huckleberry Finn; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Randy was also preceded in death by a brother, John McVay.

William Frank Dudgeon, Jr. age 81, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, passed away at his home on August 11, 2024 after an illness. He was born August 18, 1942 to William “Willie Frank” Dudgeon and Virginia Ester Davis Dudgeon, in Campbellsville, Kentucky.
On December 17, 1966, Frank united in marriage to Lana Sue Wise.
Frank professed faith in Christ at an early age and was a member of North Side Baptist Church.
He graduated from Campbellsville College and was a member of the Kentucky National Guard. He worked several years in sales and management for Crucible Steel and Quadrant Technologies. He was affectionately known as “Frankie” by his family. He never met a stranger and was loved by many.
Survived by his wife, Lana and one sister, Juanita and her husband, Harlan Kemp of Mississippi. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.
Preceded in death by three brothers: Richard Howard Dudgeon, Aubry Ewell Dudgeon, Wayne Douglas Dudgeon and two sisters: Evelyn Nona Wilkerson and Hazel Nadine Lemons; his parents, Willie Frank and Virginia Dudgeon and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Melvin and Sarah M. Wise.

Alberta Maupin Fowler, daughter of the late Joseph Forest Maupin and Lottie Hay Maupin, was born on August 8, 1932 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 5:57 P.M., Tuesday, August 6, 2024 peacefully with her family by her side in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Age: 91
She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.
Alberta was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and Enro Shirt Company.
She enjoyed working puzzles, shopping, thrifting and playing Bingo. Alberta also loved spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren.
She is survived by three daughters: Peggy Wilson and husband, Ed of Bowling Green, Deborah Grace of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Linda Stayton and husband, Bob of Louisville; three grandchildren: Shanon Eckrich and husband, Brian of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Joseph Wilson and wife, Elizabeth and Amanda Smith and husband, Spencer of Bowling Green; six great-grandchildren: Caitlan Kenton and Rayne Guinta of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Haley Wilson, Emma Wilson, Finn Smith and Nolan Smith of Bowling Green; one great-great-grandson, Caidan Brown of Colorado Springs, Colorado; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Margaret Parrott, daughter of the late Ezra Colvin and Esther Lee Mardis Colvin, was born on September 9, 1937 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 7:42 A.M., Wednesday, August 7, 2024 in Campbellsville. Age: 86
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.
Margaret was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She united in marriage to Norman Thomas Parrott December 20, 1969 and he preceded her in death January 27, 2022.
Margaret was a hard worker and enjoyed gardening in her spare time.
Margaret is survived by one daughter-in-law, Isabel Ratliff of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Jonathon Ratliff and Cassandra Nicole Ratliff; two step-children: Carla Parrott-Johnson and Gary Parrott; one brother and one sister: Richard “Shorty” Colvin and Geraldine Bennett and husband, Ron of Campbellsville; one sister-in-law, Marjorie Colvin of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Margaret was also preceded in death by a son, Stephen Ratliff; two sons in infancy and one brother, Russell Colvin.
