CARLTON DAVIS
Carlton Davis of Campbellsville, son of the late W.F. Davis and Mamie Paxton Davis, was born September 20, 1937in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 8:54 P.M., Thursday, November 14, 2024 in Campbellsville. Age: 87
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church.
He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom for forty two years, having also worked at Cox Interior for twelve years, and also served as a volunteer fire fighter.
Carlton was a dedicated Christian and took pride in his church during his life, taking on many roles in his earlier years. He also loved to hunt and fish but most importantly, loved his family dearly.
He united in marriage to Dellean Hunt December 14, 1956.
Besides his wife, Dellean Davis of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and one daughter: Robby Davis and wife, Ellyn of Campbellsville, and Pam Parrottt and husband, Barry of Jamestown; five grandchildren: Adrienne Hash and husband, Griffin, Scott Davis, Deanna Merrill and husband, John, Jessica Williams and husband, Nathan, and Robin LeCureux and husband, Jeremy; seven great-grandchildren: Gracyne Webb and husband, Dustin, Seth Hash and wife, Chloe, Jayden Merrill, Jackson Williams, Annabelle Williams, Aaron Blakenship, and Anna Blakenship; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister: Dale Davis and Yvonne Copley.

Thelma Jean Parrott Allen of Campbellsville, daughter of the late James Elijah Parrott and Rhoda Ann Allen Parrott, was born July 3, 1944 in Shelby County, Indiana. She died at 11:35 P.M., Wednesday, November 6, 2024 in Louisville. Age: 80
Thelma was a former employee of Fruit of The Loom, Wilbert Plastics and Amazon before retiring.
She united in marriage to Bobby Ray Allen November 19,1966 and he preceded her in death May 21, 2019.
Thelma is survived by one brother, Leroy Parrott of Lebanon and a special friend and neighbor, Roy Skaggs of Campbellsville.
She was also preceded in death by a brother Stephen Lee Parrott, November 13,1987.

Karen Elaine Goble of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Malcolm Clinton Cave and Mary Elizabeth Brockman Cave, was born January 25, 1944 in Franklin County, Kentucky. She died at 4:38 A.M., Tuesday, November 5, 2024 in Louisville. Age: 80
She loved her Savior Jesus, professed faith in Christ and was a member of Bible Baptist Tabernacle.
Karen was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She united in marriage to Paul Goble August 9, 1985 and he preceded her in death October 19, 2018.
She enjoyed sewing hand-crafted gifts. She also loved flowers of all kinds for her garden and anything having to do with cats.
Karen is survived by her close friends, Mike and Candy Bader of Campbellsville and many other relatives and friends.

Alex Dustin Bailey of Jeffersonville, Indiana, formerly of Campbellsville, son of Mitchell Joe Bailey and Sandra Collins Bailey, was born November 24, 1997 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 2:57 A.M., Sunday, November 3, 2024 in Bowling Green, Kentucky as the result of an automobile accident. Age: 26
Alex professed faith in Christ and was a member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church.
Alex was a 2020 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. He had a passion for music and was self-employed as a DJ.
Alex is survived by his parents: Mitchell and Sandra Bailey of Campbellsville; his girlfriend, Cami Byers; one brother and one twin sister: Brandon Bailey and wife, Chrissy and Heather Bailey of Campbellsville; one nephew, Hudson Oak Bailey; his canine companion, Vinny and many other relatives and friends.

Fletcher Lewis Wise of Campbellsville, son of the late Truman Wise and Mattie Wagoner Wise, was born November 24, 1932 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 6:59 A.M., Monday, November 4, 2024 in Campbellsville. Age: 91
Fletcher professed faith in Christ and was a member of Palestine Baptist Church.
He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force.
Fletcher was a retired pipeline worker and later became a fishing guide upon retirement. He was most at peace on a lake fishing. While he loved catching a mess, at the end of the day, it didn’t matter if he had a bite or not. He just took the beauty and solace of nature to heart and it sustained him. He taught this to his children, and it has been a blessing.
He united in marriage to Christine Minor December 16, 1954. Fletcher was happiest at the home he made with Christine, “the best wife in the world” and his family, especially his grandkids.
Besides his wife, Christine Wise of Campbellsville, Fletcher is survived by three daughters: Patricia Sprowles and husband, Jeff and Shelia Wise of Campbellsville and Melinda Madison and husband, Scott of Maryland; six grandchildren; Sean Sprowles of Campbellsville, Austin Sprowles of Michigan, Ryan Bolger of New Jersey, Amanda Wilmsmeyer and husband, Kyle of Iowa, Jennifer Madison and husband, Jonathan Stewart of New Jersey and Michael Madison of Washington State; one sister, Della Ann Minor of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Fletcher was also preceded in death by a son, Stephen Lewis “Mouse” Wise May 9, 2020 and one sister, Ora Mae Alex.
