sylvia-parrott2Sylvia Parrott of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Hulette Hunt and Dionas Hunt, was born July 25, 1925 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 9:19 A.M., Tuesday, September 27, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 91
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church.
She united in marriage to Wesley “Shorty” Parrott April 20, 1946. He preceded her in death April 11, 2001.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Pam Parrott of Jamestown; one granddaughter, Deanna Merrill and husband, John of Columbus, Ohio; one great-grandchild, Jayden Merrill; two brothers and three sisters: Buel Hunt and wife, Betty of Augusta, Georgia, Darlene Gilpin and husband, Cecil, Phyllis Phillips and husband, George, Terry Hunt and wife, Paula of Campbellsville and Beverly Duggin of Louisville; two sisters-in-law: LaQuita Hunt and Doris Hunt of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Donald Ray Parrott and Michael Kent Parrott in infancy; two grandsons: Stephen Phillip Parrott and Michael Lynn Parrott in infancy and three brothers: Coleman Hunt, Carl Hunt and Shelby Hunt.

Michael R. Callahan of Campbellsville, son of Gloria Christie Callahan and the late Jesse R. Callahan, was born May 12, 1960, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 12:01 P.M., Sunday, September 25, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 56
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Christian Church where he was a former elder.
He was a former I T technician at Ingersoll-Rand Co.
He enjoyed numerous projects and activities such as competition pistol sports shooting in the IDPA and USPSA, fishing, landscaping and working with electronics. He loved taking things apart, seeing how they work and building more of them and he loved helping others with his skills.
He united in marriage to Brenda Goode February 22, 1980.
Besides his wife, Brenda Goode Callahan of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son, Benjamin C. Callahan of Campbellsville; two fur babies, Emma and Izzy; his mother, Gloria Christie Callahan of Campbellsville; one sister, Carolyn Thomas and husband, J. R. of Campbellsville, one brother, Phillip Callahan and wife, Carolyn of Tallahassee, Florida; his mother and father-in-law, Johnny and Onia Abell; one sister-in-law who was more like a sister, Regena Russell and husband, Richard of Campbellsville; two nieces and one nephew, Lisa Pyles of Shelbyville, Andrew Callahan of Tallahassee, Florida and Christa Thomas of Campbellsville; three aunts: Mildred Faulconer of Knifley, Marilynn Christie Fusco of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and Sandra Christie Sartin of Tallahassee, Florida and many other relatives and friends.

Shofner, Jerry Lynn

Mr. Jerry Lynn Shofner, age 55, of Jackson Towers in Campbellsville, died Saturday,  September 24, 2016, at his residence after an illness.

He was the son of the late Roscoe and Audrey Thompson Shofner of Taylor County. Jerry was a member of the Zion Separate Baptist Church and was also preceded in death by three brothers, Kenny Wayne, W.R. and Garnett Shofner and one brother-in-law, Larry Walters.

He is survived by one brother and his wife, Larry and Ann Shofner of Texas,  and four sisters and spouses, Brenda and Tim Sumrall, Linda and Eddie Sumrall all of Mississippi, Diane Walters and Sharon Gabbert both of Campbellsville. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and two very special friends, Sherry Pickett and Phillip DeSpain.

Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Lynn Shofner will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at the Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with Bobby Landis and Phillip DeSpain officiating.  Burial will be in the Zion Separate Baptist Church Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers are Olyn Sprowles, Chad Sumrall, Josh Gabbert, Alan DeWitt, Gary Miller and Virgil Shofner.

Visitation at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home will be from 5 to 8 p.m Tuesday.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
Melvin was a farmer who also had worked at Cox Interior and Kentucky Cooperage.
He united in marriage to Maxine Underwood March 27, 1970. She preceded him in death June 15, 2013.
He is survived by two sons: Roger Pike and wife, Shannon and Jerry Pike of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Todd Pike and fiancé, Ashley Walker, and Landon Pike of Campbellsville, Katie Lobb and husband, Derek of Greensburg; three great-grandchildren: Dawson Lobb, Dalton Pike, and Zayden Walker; one sister, Opal Judd and husband, Paul of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by six sisters and one brother: Nellie Greenlee, Carlyton Campbell, Edna Stubbs, Mary Pike, Katherine Pike, Hallie Pike, and Kenneth Pike.

Annelle Bault Cox

Mrs. Annelle Bault Cox, age 81, of Campbellsville, died Friday, September 23, 2016, at the Taylor Regional Hospital after an illness.

She was the daughter of the late Basil and Bertie Ruth Hovious Bault of Adair County. Besides her parents Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her husband, Ovlin Cox, one son, Douglas Wayne Cox, three sisters, Judy Bault, Lonita Hancock and Doris Mae Combs and two brothers, Leon and Gordon Bault.

She is survived by three sons, one daughter and their spouses, Billy and Brenda Cox of Port Charolette, Florida, Johnnie Cox of Elk Horn, Jerry and Paulette Cox and Shelia and Roger Malone all of Campbellsville. Seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren with one great-grandson due very soon. Two brothers and three sisters also survive, Garnett Bault of Campbellsville, Leonard Bault of Cane Valley, Maxine Stonecipher of Indiana, Betty Willis and Mary Evelyn Lee both of Campbellsville.

Funeral service for Mrs. Annelle Bault Cox will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Jones Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Mary Christine Cox age 85 of Campbellsville, died Thursday September 22, 2016, at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab Center after an illness.

She was the daughter of the late Philip and Nonie Bottoms of Taylor County. She had professed faith in Christ and had a strong Christian belief. She united in marriage to Berry Cox who preceded her in death. Mrs. Cox was also preceded in death by two sons, Shelby and Earl Allen Cox of Taylor County and three grandchildren, Samantha Rae Cox, DeWayne Hayes and Anthony Wayne Cox all of Campbellsville.

She is survived by two sons and three daughters, Dannie Cox and Darrell Cox and his wife Jill all of Campbellsville, Laura Cox and her husband Keith, Dorlene Perkins and her husband Larry and Mary Gray all Elk Horn, and one daughter in law, Ruby Cox of Casey County. Eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren also survive along with several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Christine Cox will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, September 26, 2016 at the Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with burial in the Jones Chapel Cemetery.

Rev. Robert Lehman, 88

He left this world to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, having attained the age of 88 years, 1 month, and 8 days. He was an ordained minister who earned a living as a carpenter, but lived his life as a testimony of his Full Gospel Faith. He was a veteran of the United States Army with five years of honorable service in Germany.

He leaves to mourn his passing:

Christine Gabehart of Mannsville, daughter of the late James N. Gore and Miriam Campbell Gore, was born April 29, 1934, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 1:15 P.M., Monday, September 19, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 82
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mannsville United Methodist Church since 1969 where she had taught Sunday School for forty years. Christine played the piano at church for more than fifty years and had served in various offices at the Church, including PPR Chair, Administrative Council Chair. She was President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer of the Mannsville United Methodist Women unit and held other District offices of the UMW. She had also served on the CF&A for the Louisville Conference.
She joined the Mannsville Homemakers Club in 1965 and had served as President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. She had also served as Treasurer and International Relations Chair of the Taylor County Homemakers. She was a member of the Pitman Chapter #157 Order of the Eastern Star since 1967 and had held most offices in the organization.
She was a member of the Campbellsville Emmaus Community.
She was passionate about the Taylor County Public Library and was on the founding Board of Trustees. She served various offices during her 24 year tenure.
She enjoyed transporting her Amish friends and neighbors to different locations over the last two years.
She worked at the family business, Mannsville Sash and Door Company, from 1957 to February, 2016.
She united in marriage to James Edmond “Ed” Gabehart January 23, 1954. He preceded her in death December 11, 2008.
She is survived by one son and two daughters: Tony Gabehart and wife, Cindy of Campbellsville, Terri Gabehart and Janet Bradley and husband, Mark of Mannsville; one son-in-law: Thad Prince of Mannsville; seven grandchildren: Adam Prince and wife, Rachel, Amanda Wood and Olivia Gabehart of Campbellsville, Shelia Lewis and husband, Kevin of Springfield, Heather O’Banion and husband, Shane of Bowling Green, Beth Barth and husband, Kevin of Knoxville, Tennessee and Rick Bradley of Phoenix, Arizona; four great-grandchildren: Madeline Lewis, Addyson Wood, Jaxton Wood and Kason Lampley; one brother: Dr. L.C. Gore and wife, Jana of Elizabethtown; one sister-in-law, Doris Trautman and husband, Edmund of Canpbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by two daughters: Judy Faye Gabehart and Karen Prince; one great-grandson, Luca Prince; two brothers and one sister: Lenwood H. Gore, James N. Gore, Jr. and Corene Henderson.

grahamMr. Roy Graham, the son of the late Leslie and Pauline Smith Graham, was born Thursday, February 25, 1954 in Campbellsville and departed this life on Sunday, September 18, 2016 in Campbellsville at his home. He was 62 years, 6 months and 25 days of age.
He was a former employee for the city of Campbellsville and Coppock’s and was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include two children: Audra K. Graham and Roy Lee Graham, Jr, both of Campbellsville; two brothers: Bobby Joe Graham and wife Diane of Campbellsville and Lester Graham and wife Carolyn of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Also surviving are two grandchildren: Billy Joe Walker, Jr and Ashley Walker and companion Todd Pike all of Campbellsville; two great-grandchildren: Dalton Pike and Zayden Walker of Campbellsville and a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Margaret Ray and his twin brother: Troy Graham and six additional siblings.

The funeral service for Mr. Roy Graham, will be conducted Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with entombment in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

caulk-anna-maeMrs. Anna Mae (Dudgeon) Caulk of Campbellsvile was born in Campbellsville on January 7, 1937 to the late William Alvin and Elizabeth (Dickens) Dudgeon. She departed this life on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was 79 years, 8 months, and 6 days of age. Mrs. Caulk was a former machine operator at the Fruit of the Loom plant in Campbellsville and a homemaker. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Robinson Creek Baptist Church. She loved her church family and attended as often as possible. She enjoyed gathering at church functions, especially bingo (and was often a winner), and listening to old-fashioned gospel music.

She leaves to cherish her memory:
