Peggy Grammer Wilcoxson, age 78, of Campbellsville died Wednesday, June 29, 2016 in Campbellsville following an illness.
Peggy was born Peggy Joyce Grammer on May 20, 1938 in Campbellsville to the late Owen and Doris Marcum Grammer. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Helen George.
She taught in the Marion County school system at West Marion Elementary School where she retired after 31 years of going the extra distance for the children. A faithful member of Bethel First Presbyterian Church, she volunteered in various capacities including organizing bereavement meals. She had served as an Elder and was a life member of PW (Presbyterian Women). Peggy enjoyed taking trips but most of all loved being MaMaw to her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, David A. Wilcoxson, II and his wife, Joan of Lexington; three grandchildren, Katherine Elizabeth Wilcoxson, Anna Marcum Wilcoxson and Benjamin David Wilcoxson; a brother, Thomas M. Grammer and his wife, Bobbi of Campbellsville and a sister, Betty Jo Carrico and her husband, McChord of Louisiana.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 5th at Bethel First Presbyterian Church with Rev. James A. Murphy officiating. Burial will follow at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are David Wilcoxson, Ben Wilcoxson, Christian Carrico, Charles Carrico, Karem George, Thomas Grammer and Gerald Myers.
The family request visitation from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 5th at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Bethel First Presbyterian Church and may be made at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.

Marjorie Louis Richeson Wilson of Campbellsville, daughter of the late J.W. “Willie” Richeson and Nora Robinson Richeson, was born October 27, 1928, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 9:42 P.M., Sunday, June 26, 2016, in Campbellsville, Kentucky. Age: 87.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Early’s Chapel United Methodist Church where she served as church secretary and treasurer and Sunday school teacher and was an active member of the United Methodist Women. She was the Taylor County Farm Bureau Federation secretary and tax consultant for some 36 years; prior to that she was a tax consultant at H&R Block. She was an accomplished seamstress, and as a 4-H leader, she taught many young ladies to sew.
She united in marriage to Buford Wilson on December 4, 1948.
Besides her husband, Buford Wilson of Campbellsville, she is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Paul Akridge of Campbellsville; three granddaughters: Mariah Akridge of California, Sarah Jefferson of Georgia and Mary Jefferson of Texas; special friend and caregiver, Dellen Shabazz; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one sister, Carrie Matherly, August 24, 2010.

Edwin Blevins of Campbellsville, son of the late Ira Blevins and Lillie Richerson Blevins, was born January 23, 1924, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 1:30 P.M., Sunday, June 26, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 92

He was a retired farmer and was former owner and operator of B & B Landscaping.
He united in marriage to Nell Colvin November 17, 1942.
Besides his wife, Nell C. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He was a retired employee of Parker Kalon.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army.
Sam always raised a big garden and shared produce with friends and neighbors and was a big “Kentucky” fan.
He united in marriage to Lois Richerson May 28, 1955.
Besides his wife, Lois Hayes of Campbellsville, he is survived by two sons: Ronnie Wayne Hayes and Robbie Allen Hayes of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Michael Hayes, Brian Hayes and Samantha Hayes of Campbellsville; two great-granddaughters: Raegan and Kenady; a former daughter-in-law, Debbie Hayes of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Paul McCubbin of Campbellsville, son of the late William Nathan McCubbin and Vanda Foster McCubbin, was born April 24, 1924, in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 3:55 A.M., Sunday, June 26, 2016 in Greensburg. Age: 92 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a retired Kentucky Alcohol, Beverage Control Officer and was a former Taylor County Sheriff. He was also a former employee of B & B Landscaping, President of the Jaycees and a farmer. He had farmed all of his youth and was happy knowing he could feed others as well as his own family. He was honored by the Governor of Kentucky as an outstanding farmer for the State of Kentucky. He was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorable in the United States Army. He united in marriage to Marie Miller who preceded him in death and later united in marriage to Martha Jane Acree June 2, 1973. Geneva Cox of Campbellsville, daughter of the late George Wooley and Nannie Murphy Wooley was born September 18, 1918 in Marion County, Kentucky. She died at 12:25 A.M., Saturday, June 25, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 97
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
She attended Campbellsville College and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Kentucky University. She taught school in a rural school in Marion County and rural schools in Taylor County and was librarian at Taylor County High School for twenty-three years. She was in the teaching profession for some forty years before her retirement in June, 1978.
She united in marriage to George A. Cox April 1, 1962. He preceded her in death July 29, 1997.
She is survived by three step-daughters: O’Neal Moberly, Deanie Whitt and Glenda Jevans of Mt. Washington; four step-grandchildren: Mike Whitt, Glen Whitt, Ginny Whitt, and Heather Emmelhainz; several nieces and nephews, including Ron Ringler of Carthage, North Carolina who was her power of attorney and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother: Irene Floyd, Ruth Wells, Bernecie Russell, Leona Davis and David Wooley.
