Ricky Humphress of Columbia, son of Harold Lee Humphress and Perline Perkins Humphress, was born February 17, 1962 in Taylor County, Kentucky.  He died at 9:43A.M., Tuesday, July 8, 2014 in Elizabethtown.      Age: 52

He was a farmer and truck driver.

He is survived by his parents, Harold Lee Humphress and Perline Perkins Humphress of Campbellsville; one brother and one sister: Ronnie Humphress of Columbia and Darlene Humphress of Campbellsville; one constant canine companion: Gracie Lou; and many other relatives and friends.

Bobby Glen Eastridge of Elk Horn, son of the late Coy Eastridge and Opal Hovious Eastridge, was born January 8, 1935 in Adair County, Kentucky.  He died at 4:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 8, 2014 in Elk Horn.      Age: 79

He professed faith in Christ and attended Mt. Zion Church of God.

He was a retired farmer.

He united in marriage to Joyce Humphress December 24, 1954.

Besides his wife, Joyce Humphress Eastridge of Elk Horn, he is survived by one son and two daughters: Barry Eastridge and wife, Pam and Sheila Price and husband, Terry of Campbellsville and Pat Clark and husband, David of Elk Horn; eight grandchildren: Stacy Shuffett and husband, Cameron, B.J. Price, Wendy Shumpert, Richard Parker, Elizabeth Reynolds and husband, Rob, Janie Cruse and husband, Adam, Justin Eastridge and wife, Sarah, and Jeffrey Eastridge; eleven great-grandchildren: Kaden Price, Kodie Price, Christen Shumpert, Joshua Shumpert, Daniel Shumpert, Matthew Parker, Ashlynn Parker, Jacob Dykes, Parker Dykes, Allie Cruse and Clay Cruse; three step- great-grandchildren: Marnie Reynolds, Noah Reynolds and Zoe Reynolds; three brothers and two sisters: Ronnie Eastridge and wife, Darlene of Campbellsville, Wayne Eastridge and wife, Mildred, Byron Eastridge and wife, Betty and Myra Greer all of Knifley, Mary Williams of Elk Horn; special uncle, Jack Eastridge and wife, Wyeneth of Elk Horn; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Vintage Perfume VialClemmie Odell Karnes, 66, of Campbellsville, died Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at his residence after an illness.

He was born May 31, 1948 at Saloma, KY to the late Walter and Catherine Martin Karnes.  He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Karnes, three daughters and spouses, Kristy Young; Melissa and David Walls, all of Campbellsville; Jamie and Jamie Terrell of Gravel Switch; three sons and spouses, Clemmie Beckley, Todd and Chrystal Beckley, all of Campbellsville andJohnnie Wright of Florida; six brothers and spouses, J.W. Karnes, D.L. and Tina Karnes, Jimmy and Karen Karnes, all of Campbellsville, Brian and Tasha Karnes of Casey County, Roger Karnes of Maine and David Karnes of Texas; seventeen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Karnes and a grandson, Landon Bekley.

Funeral services for Clemmie Karnes will be held at 12 noon Saturday at the Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Cochran and Bro. Don Gowin officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers are Joey Karnes, Jody Allen, Evan Walls, Stephen Thomas, Ronnie Beckley and Brandon Smith.

The family request visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.

Marshall Daryl “Buck” Graham, Jr., age 25, of Campbellsville, died Saturday, July 5th, 2014 in Campbellsville.

He was born in Campbellsville on September 13, 1988 to Marshall Daryl, Sr. and Susan Ann Volk Graham who survive.  Buck had many interest including playing his guitar and singing, he loved to draw and enjoyed playing video games.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Jessica Ackerson Graham; his two sons, Noah Jayden Graham and Isaac Clarke Graham, of Campbellsville; his sisters, Marcella Graham, of Campbellsville, Marshell Tompkins, of Louisville, Melissa Newton, of Louisville and Kimberly Mitchell, of Campbellsville; his brothers, Jeff Herbig, of Campbellsville, Kevin Herbig, of Campbellsville and Greg Herbig, of Louisville;  his father and mother-in-law, Rob and Arlene Ackerson, of Dry Ridge, KY; nine nieces and three nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Jolene Graham; grandparents, William and JoAnne Volk; grandmother Mary Erma Johnson and grandfather, Ezra Holmes.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 9th at the Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home in Campbellsville with burial to follow at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.  The family request that visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.

Linda Jane Wilcoxson of Louisville, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Thurman Wilcoxson and Sadie Sharp Wilcoxson was born November 10, 1948 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 4:06 P.M., Saturday, July 5, 2014 in Louisville.     Age: 65

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church.

She was a retired school teacher at Campbellsville High School.

She is survived by one sister and one brother and their spouses: Peggy and Bobby Gilpin and Frank and Aileen Wilcoxson; two nephews and three nieces and spouses: Larry and Debbie Gilpin, Bill and Karen Gilpin, Debbie Wilcoxson, Rhonda and Jamie Rose and Cindy and David Jaggers of Campbellsville; several great and great-great nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Thomas PorterMr. Thomas Adrian Porter, age 85 of McNary Street, Campbellsville died Friday, July 4, 2014 at the Liberty Care and Rehabilitation Center in Liberty after a long illness.

He is survived by his constant companion Alice Rose Smith and her nine children, one daughter, Alice Marie Sanders of Lebanon, one brother and four sisters and their spouses, Neal and Mary Porter, Susan Yocum, Josie and William Spaulding, Nannie and Emmett McKay and Margaret Spaulding all of Lebanon. Several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 10th at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Campbellsville. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home where a prayer service will be held at 7 p.m.

Lucille Allen of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Ray Thomas Martin and Gennie Ann DeWitt Martin, was born September 29, 1936, in Taylor County, Kentucky.  She died at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, July 3, 2014, in Campbellsville.      Age: 77

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church,

She united in marriage to Lewis Allen June 26, 1954. He preceded her in death April 19, 2005.

She is survived by two sons: Lee Allen and wife, Jenny of Campbellsville and Raymond Allen and wife, Jessie of New Albany, Indiana; four grandchildren: Julie Allen of Campbellsville, Jackie Allen of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Dustin Allen of Clarksville, Indiana and Blake Allen of Campbellsville; one great-granddaughter, Ayreal Allen of Campbellsville; one brother, David Martin of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Stella Martin in infancy,

She was valedictorian of the 1940 graduating class of Campbellsville High School.

She was retired bookkeeper from McMahan Cherry Furniture Company.

She united in marriage to Ellis Russell Shaw August 16, 1941. He preceded her in death February 22, 2008.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Robert Seymour “Bob” and Ruth Ann Badgett Shaw of Frankfort; two grandsons: Dr. Joseph Russell (Caroline)Shaw of Bloomington, Indiana and Jason Robert ( Rachel)Shaw of Frankfort; four great-grandchildren: Ian Joseph Shaw and Emma Elizabeth Shaw of Bloomington, Indiana and Robert Merritt Shaw and Sawyier Jillson Shaw of Frankfort; two brothers-in-law and their wives: Don and Gail Shaw and Dick and Charlene Shaw.
