Mrs. Annie Hoskins, age 81 of Campbellsville died Saturday, November 2, 2013.
Annie Hoskins was the daughter of the late Harriet Trickey and James Anderson.
Annie was a member of Bible Baptist Tabernacle. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother along with being a friend to many.
She is survived by her husband Arthur Hoskins, three sons; Eric Spanding, Chris Spanding and Jim Spanding, two daughters; Marge Lane and Bonnie Bailey and fourteen grandchildren along with a host of family and friends.
Memorial services will be conducted at Bible Baptist Tabernacle November 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM.

LaRita Nueman of Campbellsville, daughter of June Cutler Hansen and the late D. E. Hansen, was born June 15, 1955, in Cedar Falls, Iowa.  She died at 9:25 A.M., Wednesday, October 30, 2013 in Campbellsville.      Age: 58

She is survived by two daughters:  Shannon Hansen of Campbellsville and Kari Nueman of Lexington; four grandchildren:  Haley Hansen, Shayla Hansen, Kristen Hansen and Dasha Nueman; her mother, June Cutler Hansen of Campbellsville; two sisters:  Linnette Atwood and husband, Brent of Liberty and Tonya Stapleton and husband, Daniel of Columbia; her companion, David Smothers of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Lois Crum, age 58 of Campbellsville died Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Taylor Regional Hospital.
She is survived by one son Thornton Crum Jr and Ashley, two daughters; Cathy Ann Crum and Melissa Carol Crum all of Campbellsville, five grandchildren, one great grandchild, three brothers; James K. Endicott, Roy Endicott and Ronnie Endicott all of Columbus, Ohio, four sisters; Aletta Clendenin of West Virginia, Cathy Toops, Meneruia Endicott and Denece Smith all of Columbus, Ohio.

Walter Edwin “Jack” Pike

Walter Edwin “Jack” Pike of Campbellsville, son of the late James W. Pike and Mary E. Viers Pike, was born December 10, 1924, in Taylor County, Kentucky.  He died at 12:45 P.M., Tuesday, October 29, 2013 in Campbellsville. Age: 88

He was a veteran of World War II having served his country honorably in the United States Army.

He was a member of the American Legion Edward’s O’Banion Post No. 82 for sixty-eight years.

He was a retired employee of Campbellsville Industries and a farmer.

He united in marriage to Irene Bradshaw November 22, 1984.

Besides his wife, Irene Pike of Campbellsville, he is survived by three daughters and one son:  Mary Jo Dudley of Dallas, Texas, Linda Martin and husband, Ervin of Elizabethtown, Ronnie Pike of Humble, Texas and Donna Pike of Baytown, Texas; eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; one sister, Virginia Barnett and husband, Richard of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by three sisters:  Barbara Loyall, Audrey Jean Pike and Jewell Eubank and one step-brother and one step-sister:  James Leslie and Peggy White.

W. R. Bowen of Campbellsville, son of the late William Rease Bowen and Alice Lee Campbell Bowen, was born March 4, 1943, in Taylor County, Kentucky.   He died at 7:39 A.M., Wednesday, October 23, 2013 in Campbellsville.      Age: 70

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

He was a retired farmer and construction worker.

He united in marriage to Georgia Foley August 24, 1963.

Besides his wife, Georgia Bowen of Campbellsville, he is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Tony Rose of Campbellsville; two grandchildren:  Brittany Rose and Wesley Rose of Campbellsville; two sisters:  Marjorie Hendrickson and Jean Stanfield of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by one sister and three brothers:  Helen Bowen,

Obit – Margaret Ann Parrish

Mrs. Margaret Ann (Lamme) Parrish, of Campbellsville, entered into God’s care on October 23, 2013. She had achieved the age of 86 years and 21 days. Mrs. Parrish was retired, but had worked many years at the Fruit of the Loom factory and as a receptionist for Dr.’s Chambers and Shely. She was of the Christian faith, and was a member of the Woodlawn Christian Church in Campbellsville.

She is survived by:
One daughter – Patricia Wilson and husband Troy, of Campbellsville
One daughter-in-law – Nona Parrish of Campbellsville
Four grandchildren – Kevin L. Wilson and wife Tammy, Deanna Gupton and husband Todd, Chris Parrish and wife Regina, and Leanne Parrish, all of Campbellsville.
Seven great grandchildren, one step great grandchild, and four step great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by:
Her husband – Billie Parrish
One son – Bobby “Pete” Parrish

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Ann Parrish will be held at 12:00 EST on Friday, October 25, 2013, at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Campbellsville, with burial to follow at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. There will be a private viewing Friday morning for her immediate family and close friends.

Joan Jones of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Leslie Royce Cox and Louise Nunn Cox Graves was born November 12, 1943 in Barren County, Kentucky. She died at 3:05 A.M., Saturday, October 19, 2013 in Campbellsville.   Age: 69

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mannsville Christian Church.

She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom.

She united in marriage to Lonnie A. Jones who preceded her in death January 14, 2005.

She is survived by two sons and two daughters: Jeffrey A. Jones Sr. and wife, Jorretta, Leslie Jones Vance and husband, Mark and Jay Jones of Campbellsville and Caren Elizabeth Jones of Louisville; three grandchildren: Jessie Reagan Vance of Campbellsville, Weston Vance and Trevor Vance of Magnolia; one great-granddaughter, Elayna Vance; two sisters and one brother: Bonnie Gayle Lyons and husband, Anthony of Louisville, Peggy Carol Carpenter and husband, Kenny of Gravel Switch and Robert Dennis Cox and wife, Kathy of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Joseph Michael Hardin of Louisville, formerly of Campbellsville, son of the late Joe Henry Hardin and Villa Malone Hardin was born May 16, 1950 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. He died at 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 18, 2013 in Louisville.     Age: 63

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served his country honorably in the United States Army.

He was a retired employee at General Electric having worked some thirty-eight years.

He is survived by two sons: Wayne Hardin of Campbellsville and Brandon Hardin and wife, Beverly of Bardstown; six grandchildren: Christin Hardin, Patrick Hardin and wife, Mary, Wesley Hardin, Tyler Hardin, Elizabeth Marie Hardin, and James Matthias Hardin; two great-grandchildren: Elijah Hardin and Madelyn Hardin; two sisters and one brother: Shirley Cheatham and husband, Frank of Campbellsville, Carole Cheatham and husband, Tom of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and J.W. Hardin of Elkhorn; one sister-in-law, Kathy Hardin of Greenwood, Indiana; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by one son, Michael Todd Hardin; two brothers: Charles Hardin and Harold Morris Hardin; and one sister-in-law, Linda Hardin.

Kayla Cash of Campbellsville, daughter of Steven Cash and Marlo Marks Davis, was born in Jefferson County, Kentucky December 20, 1990.  She died at 12:30 P.M., Thursday, October 17, 2013 in Bardstown.    Age:  22

She professed faith in Christ and attended Mt. Roberts Baptist Church.

She was an employee of American Fuji Seal in Bardstown.

She is survived by her parents, Steven and Farrah Cash of Campbellsville and Marlo Marks Davis and husband, Jerry of Taylorsville; three brothers and six sisters: Grant Cash, Zoe Cash, and Nathan Mink of Campbellsville, Cody Davis, Ryan Davis, Jamie Davis, Lori Davis, Brooke Davis and Cecilia Davis of Taylorsville; paternal grandfather, Wendell Raymond Cash of Louisville; maternal grandmother, Vena Marks and husband, Bob Hoffer of Bellevue and maternal grandfather, Allen Marks of Louisville; several aunts and uncles and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Verna Cash March 29, 2009.

Mr. Gary Lee Smothers, age 57 of Campbellsville, passed away on Thursday in Campbellsville at the Taylor Regional Hospital.

Survivors include his mother: Eva Mae Mattingly Smothers of Lebanon.

A son: Lee and Chrissy Smothers of Louisville.

Two daughters: Melissa and Skot Huff of Texas and Misty Smothers of Bloomfield.

Two brothers: James Terry and Connie Smothers of Cox’s Creek, KY and John and Shirley Smothers of Lebanon.

Three sisters: Shirley Baird of Mt. Washington, Shelia and Tim Gill of Lexington and Amy Burnside of Bardstown and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family has chosen cremation and memorial services will be private.
