          Ms. Virginia Raydell Osborne, age 90, died Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Grandview Rehab Facility in Taylor County.

          Raydell was the daughter of the late Mary Parker and Frank Riddle, she was also preceded in death by her husband Chester Osborne, one daughter Deloris Osborne and two sons Kenneth and Smith Osborne.

          Raydell was a member of the Mt. Zion Church of God and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, along with a caring friend to many.

          She is survived by her two daughters; Doris Riggs and (Bob Watson) of Royal Palm Beach, Florida and Carol and David Rash of Estill Springs Tennessee, one daughter-in-law Sue Osborne of Columbia, Kentucky, six grandchildren, several great grandchildren; Vickie Freas, Michael Riggs, Kimberly Sallee, Debbie Hagan, Michael Osborne and Joey Osborne, several Great Grandchildren, one sister; Carrie Morley of Shady Valley, Tennessee, several nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.

          Funeral services for Ms. Virginia Osborne were conducted Sunday, April 28, 2013 at 2:00 PM in chapel at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial in the Harden Cemetery.

Mr. Charles Hardin, age 70, died Sunday, April 21, 2013 at his residence in Greenwood, Indiana after an long illness.
He is survived by his wife Kathy Hardin of Greenwood, Ind., one daughter Sandra Goudie of Indiana, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren, two brothers; JW Hardin of Campbellsville and Michael Hardin of Louisville, two sisters and brother-in-laws; Shirley and Frank Cheatham of Campbellsville and Carol and Tom Cheatham of Tennessee.

          Ms. Anna Lee Graybeal, age 87, died Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at her residence in Taylor County.

          She is survived by two sons; Carl  (Wanda) Graybeal of Campbellsville and Harold (Gail) Graybeal of Danville, three daughters; Evelyn Shoulders of Louisville, Margaret (Gary) Duffey of Stockbridge, GA, and Audrey (Terry) Cox of Mt Washington, seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren along with a host of family and friends.

          Funeral services for Ms. Anna Lee Graybeal will be conducted 1 PM Friday, April 26, 2013 at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Tallow Creek Cemetery.

Gladys Shipp Pennington of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Ander Smith and Mary E. Perkins Smith, was born January 25, 1925, in Washington County, Kentucky.  She died at 11:01 P.M., Tuesday, April 23, 2013 in Campbellsville.   Age: 88

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.

She was a member of the Pitman Chapter #157 Order of the Eastern Star and the Taylor Regional Hospital Auxiliary.

She united in marriage to John Edgar Shipp, who preceded her in death May 1959.

She united in marriage to Robert C. “Bob” Deener July 7, 1961.  He preceded her in death June 17, 1987.

She united in marriage to Joe Pennington October 23, 1992.  He preceded her in death December 2, 2002.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, John and Mary Shipp of Campbellsville; two sons-in-law:  Louis Shipp and Pete Daugherty of Campbellsville; eight grandchildren:

Brian Pickard and wife, Tiffany, Charlotte “Cricket” Willis and husband, David, Janet Woodcox and husband, Tim and Jessica Samuell and husband, Kevin of Campbellsville, John T. Shipp and wife, Leah and Pennye Parsons and husband, Steve of Greenwood, Indiana, Toni Brock and husband, Andy of Peru, Indiana and Eddy Cox and wife, Dawn of Atlanta, Georgia; seventeen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister:  Tommy Smith of Lebanon and Faye Yankey of Springfield; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by two daughters:  Peggy Noel Shipp November 18, 2001 and Joyce Daugherty January 10, 2010; one great-grandson, Wesley Aaron Cox Kelsay July 30, 1992 and three brothers:  Richard Smith, Lester Smith and James Smith.

          Mr. Thurman “Finn” Watson, age 66, died Friday, April 19, 2013 at his residence.

          Thurman Finn Watson was the son of the late Hortense Finn and Thurman Watson; he was also preceded in death by two brothers Dan Watson and Douglas Watson.

          Finn had professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. He was a retired school bus drive from Taylor County School System.  Racing was his passion of 38 years. He was a caring and loving husband, father and grandfather as well as a friend to many.

          He is survived by his wife Betty “Hash” Watson, two sons; Jeff Watson of Campbellsville and Ricky Watson of Louisville, one Granddaughter; Lainey Grace Watson and one sister and brother-in-law; Frances and Dennis Morris and one sister-in-law; Brenda Watson all of Campbellsville, along with a host of family and friends.

          Funeral services for Mr. Watson were conducted at 1 PM Monday, April 22, 2013 at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
