Marilyn Jean Riggs, age 71, died Friday, April 05, 2013 at her residence in Campbellsville.
Marilyn was the daughter of the late Edna and James Hill, she was also preceded in death by her first husband James Homer Cox, two brothers; James Jr. Hill and Chester Hill and one sister Gevena Reeves.
Marilyn was a loving and caring wife, sister, mother and grandmother and a friend to many.
She is survived by her husband Michael Riggs, one daughter Jennifer Cox and fiancée Carly Arnett, two grandchildren James Thomas Lyndon Cox (Carly Rabbeth Cox) and Theresa Louise Cox, one great grandchild Elizabeth K Rabbeth Cox all of Campbellsville, two sisters; Norma Jean Richardson and Mary E Hamilton both of Indiana, along with a host of family and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Marilyn Riggs were conducted Monday, April 8, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial in the Benningfield Cemetery.

Ruby McMahan of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Robert Hord and Bertha Romine Hord, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, June 25, 1917. She died at
3:15 P.M., Monday, April 1, 2013, in Campbellsville. Age: 95
She professed faith in Christ and attended First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and was owner and operator of R & C Frame & Gift Shop for thirty years.
She united in marriage to Clifton McMahan December 24, 1937. He preceded her in death December 30, 1992.
She is survived by one daughter and three sons: Margie Leach and husband, G.T., Jerry McMahan and wife, Mary, Bobby McMahan and wife, Edith, and Donnie McMahan of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Jeannie Hardin, Barry McMahan, Brian Leach and Wendy McMahan of Campbellsville, Janna Cotterill of Columbia, South Carolina and Robb McMahan of Austin, Texas; seven great-grandchildren: Tye Hardin, Chelsea Hardin, Joshua McMahan, Patrick McMahan, Olivia McMahan, Brianne Leach and Madison Cotterill; three great-grandchildren: Thomas McMahan, Benjamin McMahan and Lane Hardin; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother: Lillian Black, Aileen Black, Lena Smith, and Oliver Hord.

Norma Jean Johnson of Campbellsville, daughter of the late William McCarty and Mable Samples McCarty, was born in Jefferson County, Kentucky, February 25, 1944. She died at 12:01 A.M., Monday, April 1, 2013, in Campbellsville.
Age: 69
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Taylors Chapel United Methodist Church.
She united in marriage to David Earl Johnson February 11, 1961.
Besides her husband, David Earl Johnson, she is survived by two sons: Dwayne Earl Johnson and wife, Margie Sue of Somerset and Anthony Todd Johnson and special friend, Linda Welch of Greensburg; one grandson, Daniel Earl Johnson of Somerset; one great-grandson, Zachary Johnson; one sister and one brother: Joyce Gatewood and husband, Wayne of Louisville and Donald McCarty of Lincoln, Nebraska; one nephew, David Wayne Gatewood and wife, Leigh of Louisville; one great-nephew, Dylan Gatewood of Louisville; several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, Jacob Lee Johnson in December, 2012 and one brother, Ralph McCarty.

Louise Arnold Corbin of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Walter (Buck) Arnold and Lilly Hardin Arnold, was born in Adair County, Kentucky, February 8, 1928. She died at 9:30 P.M., Thursday, March 28, 2013, in Louisville. Age: 85 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Meadowview Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. She united in marriage to Gilbert Corbin July 6, 1946. He preceded her in death July 11, 2010. Harold Waymon of ElkHorn, son of the late Lillard Smith Waymon and Hattie Delray Denny Waymon, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, January 23, 1939. He died at 8:45 P.M., Saturday, March 23, 2013, in ElkHorn. Age: 74
He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
He was a retired employee of Taylor County Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation after some forty-four years service.
He united in marriage to Frances Wethington October 21, 1957.
Besides his wife, Frances Waymon, he is survived by one son and two daughters: Michael Waymon and Cindy Nelson Bale and husband, Hollis of Campbellsville and Angie Waymon Shuffett of Greensburg; five grandchildren: Kevin Nelson, Jessica Hedgespeth and husband, Bobby, and Brooke Reece and husband, Matt of Campbellsville, Lindsey Waymon and fiancée, Tiffany Sullivan of Central City, and John Shuffett of Greensburg; one step-granddaughter, Megan McKinney of Greensburg; eight great-grandchildren: Dalton Young, Austin Demers, Sierra Demers, Ami Reece, Jacob Nelson, Luke Nelson, Daniel Nelson, and Chase Thomas Hedgespeth; two step-great-granddaughters: Allie McKinney and Madi McKinney; two sisters and three brothers: Alma Ford and husband, Conrad, Donald Waymon and wife, Teresa, and Junior Waymon and wife, Phyllis of Campbellsville, Joe Waymon and wife, Rose of Lebanon, and Stella Lynch of Franklin, Indiana; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Danny Roy Muncie, age 70 of Campbellsville died Friday at his residences in Taylor County.
Danny was the son of the late Imogene Walker and Lanous Muncie, he was also preceded in dead by his son David Ronald Muncie.
Danny was a member of the First Church of God, he was a loving husband and a caring father and brother as well as a friend to many.
He is survived by his wife Charlene Muncie, one step son Joseph “Joe” Robinson, one step-daughter Amy Michelle and Doug Baldwin all of Campbellsville, three great grandchildren; Joni and husband Jared Reynolds, Wesley Robinson and Caitlyn Baldwin, one brother and sister-in-law; Jerry and Faye Muncie of Campbellsville, one sister and brother-in-law; Carlotta and Jim Richardson of Lebanon along with a host of family and friends.

William J.”Bill” Chelf, age 87, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
William was the son of the late Gordon Chelf and Ruby Tucker Chelf.
Bill was retired from G.E., he was a loving and caring husband and father.
He is survived by his wife Nina Chelf, two sons and daughter-in-laws; Darrell and Becky Chelf and Jeffrey and Paula Chelf, one daughter; Diana Chelf, five Grandchildren and two great grandchildren and one sister Genevee Spires along with a host of family and friends.

Lora Rayetta Hicks, age 55, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Taylor Regional Hospital after a long illness.
Lora is the daughter of the late Ray Phillip Dudgeon, she was also preceded in death by one sister Leisha Pogue Barke and one half brothers Jerald Dudgeon.
Lora worked at Fruit of the Loom and was a member of Baptist Temple Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother as well as a caring sister and friend to many.
She is survived by her mother Lora Mae Dudgeon, two daughters Lorie Ann Hicks and Tracy Yocom and three grandchildren all of Campbellsville, two sisters and brother-in-laws; Joanna and Stacy Bennet of Columbia and Patricia and David Milby of Tennessee, two brothers and sister-in-laws; Darrell and Carol Dudgeon of Columbia and Mike and Tammy Dudgeon of Russell Springs, one half brother and wife Billy and Peggy Dudgeon of Campbellsville, along with a host of family and friends.

William E. “Bill” Sallee of Campbellsville, son of the late William Arthur Sallee and Mary Anna Murrell Sallee, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, April 27, 1927. He died at 9:35 P.M., Sunday, March 17, 2013, in Campbellsville.
Age: 85
He united in marriage to Ella Mary Wyatt December 14, 1952. She preceded him in death July 12, 2009.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Sunny Hill Church of Christ.
He was a Veteran of World War II, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War, having served his country honorably in the United States Air Force and the United Sates Army and retired as a Technical Sergeant.
He was also a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
He is survived by one daughter and special friend: Gina Lyn Sallee and Gary B. Cox of Campbellsville; one brother and four sisters: Daymon Sallee, Jewell (Jay) Cox, and Lora Mae Dudgeon of Campbellsville, Mary Elizabeth Vance of Greensburg, and Athol Milby of Summersville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one sister and two brothers: Delois Bell, Logan Ray Sallee and Maurice Gene Sallee.
