Ms Barbara Jean Tungate, age 64, died Saturday, at her residences in Taylor County.
Barbara Jean was the daughter of the late Lois and Bennis Garrett, she was also preceded in death by one brother Hanley Garrett.
Barbara worked on a dairy farm for many years, then worked and retired from Fruit of the Loom. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister and a friend to many.
She is survived by her three son; Dale Tungate and spouse Ashley Smith of Mannsville, James Lee Tungate of Campbellsville and Charles William Tungate of Mannsville, four grandchildren, one great grandchild, six sisters and brother-in-laws; Juanita Cox, Connie and George Gribbins, Eveyln and Bobby Cox, Jeanette Clements, Josephine and Roy Newton and Betty and James Seal all of Campbellsville, three brothers and sister-in-laws; Stanley and Jean Garrett of Mannsville, David Garrett of Louisville and Junior and Carol Garrett of Indiana, Several nieces and nephew along with a host of family and friends.
Funeral services for Ms. Barbara Jean Tungate were conducted at 2 P.M. Monday, March 18, 2013 at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial in the Jones Chapel Cemetery.

Ruth Price of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Shelby Bottoms and Alice Greer Bottoms, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, March 7, 1923. She died at
2:05 P. M., Friday, March 15, 2013, in Campbellsville. Age: 90
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church.
She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She united in marriage to Archie Price April 18, 1945. He preceded her in death May 10, 1997.
She is survived by one son and two daughters: Bobby Price and wife, Monica, Beverly Davis, and Peggy Cox and husband, Larry of Campbellsville; six grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; three sisters and one brother: Mary Nelson of Louisville, Rita Nelson Cobb and Margaret Shively of Campbellsville, and J. D. Bottoms of Texas City, Texas; one aunt, Blanche Kerr of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by two daughters: Janet Campbell and Brenda Sue Price; three sisters and four brothers: Carolyn Thompson, Leona Hughes, Hazel Beasley, James Bottoms, Lenny Bottoms, Ralph “Oakley” Bottoms, and Ronald Bottoms.

Ezra Morris, age 70, of Green County, died March 13, 2013 in an accident in Texarkana, Texas.
Ezra was the son of the late Elma and Herbert Morris, he was also preceded in death by one son Kevin DeWayne Morris, one brother Dennis Morris and one sister Mattie Kane.
He was a retired truck driver and a member of Mt Carmel Baptist Church; he was a loving father and grandfather as well as a friend to many.
He is survived by two daughters Michelle Rakes and Marsha Crews both of Campbellsville, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two nieces; Phyllis Tungate and Shirldean Carter along with a host of family and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Ezra Morris were conduct Monday at 11 A.M., March 18, 2013 at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Jodie Mings of Campbellsville, son of the late John Mings and Fannie Elizabeth Tucker Mings was born May 23, 1919 in Adair County, Kentucky. He died at
7:20 P.M., Saturday, March 9, 2013 in Campbellsville. Age: 93
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Robinson Creek Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and trustee.
He was a bus driver for the Taylor County School System for twenty-nine years and a farmer.
He united in marriage to Opal Bailey July 14, 1940.
Besides his wife, Opal Mings of Campbellsville, he is survived by two daughters: Theresia (Eddie) Rogers and Joretta (Jerry) Parker; son-in-law, Donald Rinehart; all of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Greg (Tracey) Rinehart, LeAnne Sutton, Jason Parker and Jeremy (Natalie) Parker; five great-grandchildren: Connor Rinehart, Grant Rinehart, Lauren Rinehart, Jordan Sutton, and Charli Parker; two sisters: Betty Rowe Vaughn of Ohio and Nina (William J.) Chelf of Louisville; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary Mings of Campbellsville and Bill Farmer of Ohio; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Eleasia “Lisa” Rinehart, November 14, 2009 and one sister and three brothers: Regina Farmer, Maurice Mings, Ray Mings and R.D. Mings.

She was a beautician.

James Cochran of Elk Horn, son of the late Sammie Cochran and Nettie Hughes Cochran, was born in Casey County, Kentucky, March 9, 1945. He died at 4:51 P.M., Thursday, March 7, 2013 in Louisville. Age: 67
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Elk Horn Baptist Church.
He was a former employee of Dan White Oil Company, a former Deputy Sheriff, Taylor County Magistrate and a school bus driver for the Taylor County School System for many years.
He united in marriage to Galoris Ford September 4, 1965.
Besides his wife, Galoris Cochran of Elk Horn, he is survived by two daughters and one son: Tina Blakley and husband, Russell of Somerset, Scot Cochran and wife, Beth and Nadena Agee and husband, David of Campbellsville; eight grandchildren: Alex Sexton and husband, Jamie, Samantha Benedict and husband, Jeff, Whitney Roots, J. T. Agee, Spencer Agee, Mariah Agee, Tori Cochran and Emili Cochran; three great-grandchildren: Zach Benedict, Peyton Benedict and Zander Sexton; two brothers and three sisters: Gary Cochran and wife, Nellie of Ft. Myers, Florida, Cecil Cochran of Franklin, Indiana, Marie Forister of Crittenden, Kentucky, Barbara Roundtree, of Cincinnati, Ohio and Jo Ann Wethington and husband, Carl of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters: Jimmy Cochran, T. C. Cochran, Estil Cochran, Wesley Cochran, Lorene Webb and Delores Angel.

Mr. Billy Ray Feltner, age 55 of Lemons Bend Road, Campbellsville, died Thursday at the Taylor Regional Hospital after a sudden illness.
Billy Ray Feltner was the son of Joe Jackson Feltner and the late Rosa Lee Couch-Feltner. Billy Ray was a retired coal miner from Eastern Kentucky, he spent retirement enjoying the farm in Taylor County and riding his horses. He was a loving son, brother, father and grandfather; Billy had a kind heart and loved his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Diane Feltner, two sons, Christopher Tolbert Feltner of Lawrenceburg, Billy Jackson Feltner and Cindy Rose Criss both of Hyden, two step-sons and two step-daughters Jessie Shoaf and Joshua Gill, Natasha R. Shoaf and Nicole Shoaf all of Campbellsville, three grandchildren that they were raising, Christopher Gill, Tolbert Feltner, and Kenith Ray Mills of Campbellsville. Several other grandchildren also survive along with his father, Joe Jackson Feltner of Green County and two brothers and four sisters, Jimmy Feltner of Hyden, Sylvester Feltner of Tennessee, Marilyn Collins and Carolyn Record both of Hyden, Teresa Stanford of Tennessee and Vicki Bailey of Campbellsville.
Funeral services for Billy Ray Feltner were conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 9, 2013, at the Dwayne-Walker Funeral Home in Hyden, Kentucky with burial in the Rosa Lee Feltner Memorial Cemetery in Wilder Branch, Kentucky.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the family funeral fund and may be made at the funeral home.

Ms. Janet Louise Wasson-Hancock age 77 of Campbellsville, died Monday, March 4, 2013, at the Norton’s Audubon Hospital in Louisville.
She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-laws and one daughter, Joseph Carter and Chrissy Wasson of Campbellsville, James and Annie Wasson of Lancaster and Suzanne Wasson of Campbellsville. Eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive along with one brother, Joe Mosier of Las Vegas.
Funeral services for Ms.Janet Louise Wasson-Hancock will be conducted at 10 AM Thursday at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel.

She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana.
She united in marriage to Leo Schwartzmiller, who preceded her in death August 3, 2006.
She is survived by one daughter and two sons: Cathie (Kenny) Browning of Campbellsville, Frank (Nancy) Schwartzmiller of Atlanta, Georgia and Mark (Lisa) Schwartzmiller of Crestwood; five grandchildren: Jamie (Jessica) Browning, Beth Browning, Stacey (Kevin) Spalding, Joe Schwartzmiller and Maggie Schwartzmiller; four great-grandchildren: Cameron Leake, Eli Spalding, Adrian Browning and Brianna Browning; one sister-in-law, Frances Kunz of Jasper, Indiana; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
