Erma D. Miller of 2102 Dry Creek Rd. Columbia, Kentucky, was born on February 10, 1923 to Daniel B and Mattie C. (Miller) Miller in LaGrange County Indiana, Departed this life on her ninetieth birthday, February 10, 2013.
In her youth she accepted Christ and was baptized upon her confession of faith. She was a member of Casey Amish Mennonite Church.
She married Simon D Hershberger, son of David and Susie (Miller) Hershberger, on October 7, 1948. To this union were born six sons and one daughter. Simon died November 15, 1969.
Erma was married the secound time to Alvin D. Miller on April 2, 1977. He died September 1, 1997.
Surviving are five sons Dennis and SueAnn Hershberger of Nappance ,IN; Ivan and Ruby Hershburger of Dorchester, WI; Simon and Sue Hershberger of Wolcottville, IN; Steven and Katie Hershberger of Brooksville, KY; James and Velma Hershberger of Greensburg, KY; a daughter LeAnna (Mrs Dennis) Miller of Belleville, AR; a daughter-in-law, Rhoda Hershberger of Liberty, KY; 42 grandchildren and 65 great-grandchildren; one step-son Raymond Miller of Paris, TN; four step daughters, Clara Miller of Paris TN, Verna (Mrs. Norman A.) Yoder of Olney IL, Laura (Mrs Norman) Beachy of Barry IL, Mary (Mrs. Earl A.) Yoder of Whiteville TN; a step-daughter-in-law MaryJane (Mrs Letoy) Beachy the former wife of the late Eli Miller; 30 step-grandchildren, 184 step-great-grandchildren and 10 step-great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, David Hershberger; a great-granddaughter, Margaret LeAnna Stuteman; a step-son, Eli Miller; a step-daughter, Ida Miller, a step-daughter-in-law, Barbara (Mrs. Raymond)Miller, three sisters; Saloma (Niskey Miller, Ada Chupp, Barbara Yoder and one brother Joseph Miller.
Funeral services will be held at the Casey Amish Mennonite Church on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 10AM. Visitation also at the church, on Tuesday, February 12, 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM and burial in the Casey Amish Mennonite Church Cemetery. Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Kenyetta Joe Duncan, age 34, of Campbellsville, died Sunday, February 10, 2013 at his residence.
He is surivied by his wife Kelly Duncan of Mt. Washington, two sons Isles Kentatta Lee Duncan, Kamari Jayven Drake Duncan, three daughters Taylor Nicole Duncan, Jada LaShae Pierce and Akeelah Zhama Duncan, his father Jeffery L Duncan, two brothers Efrain Duncan, Deaven Meece, two sisters Susheela Williams and Jacqueline Meece along with a host of family and friends.
Funeral services for Joe Duncan will be conducted Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 11AM at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home.

Barbara J. Lamb of Campbellsville, Kentucky, formerly of Washington, D.C., daughter of the late Cecil Jacob Six and Catherine Elizabeth Fisher Six, was born in Washington, D.C., August 31, 1936. She died at 7:29 P.M., Friday, February 8, 2013, in Campbellsville, Kentucky.                    Age:  76

She attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

She was a retired employee of the National Institute of Health in Washington, D.C. She is survived by two daughters and three sons: Karen D. Simmons and husband, Daniel of Lusby, Maryland, Charles Anthony Lamb II and wife, Becky of Grapevine, Texas, Stephen Curtis Lamb and wife, Renee of Orange Park, Florida, Marcia Gilbert and husband, Paul of Campbellsville, Kentucky, and Robert William Lamb and wife, Christina of Berwyn Heights, Maryland; fifteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Helen Louise Gibson.

          Lynna Beth Gupton, age 63, of Campbellsville, died Tuesday, February 5, 2013 in Louisville at U of L Hospital.

          Lynna was the daughter of the late Belvina Graham and James Kerr.  She was a member of Soul Chapel United Methodist Church, UMW, Modern Day  Homemakers and Tebbs Bend Battlefield Association.  Lynna was retired from Fruit of the Loom as a machine mechanic and a manger at UpStream Corp.  Lynna Beth was a loving daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, she was kind and loving to all her family and friends.

          She was survived by two daughters and son-in-law; Marilyn Landis and April and Rik Miles, two step children Bobbie Kaye Holmes and Tommy Durham all of Campbellsville,

Six Grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, Six great grandchildren and three step great grandchildren, two sisters and brother-in-laws; Lucille and James Welford of Mississippi, and Judy and Alton Bright of Campbellsville, along with a host of family and friends.

          Funeral services for Lynna Gupton were conducted 11 AM Saturday February 9, 2013 at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial in the Good Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

          Lena Arnold, age 85, died Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at her residence in Larue County.

         Lena was the daughter of the late Gertie Brockman and Turner Mardis, she was also preceded in death by her husband Robert Frank Arnold, three brothers Carl, Aryl and Harden Mardis, and three sisters Mabel Smith, Ola Smith and Hazel Walters.

         She is survived by four sons John Arnold and Danny Arnold both of Elizabethtown, Steven Arnold of Hodgenville and Mike Arnold of Campbellsville, one daughter Judy Henderson of Illinois, ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one sister Helen Rogers.

         Graveside Services for Ms Lena Arnold were conducted at 10 AM Friday, February 8, 2013 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery.

Linda Wood of Campbellsville, daughter of Roseann Buzby Hines and the late Marion Hobert Hines, was born September 25, 1953, in Taylor County, Kentucky.  She died at 7:37 A.M., Tuesday, February 5, 2013 in Campbellsville.     Age: 59

She was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness for forty years, and regularly participated in volunteer Bible education work.

She united in marriage to Les Wood December 30, 1970.

Besides her husband, Les Wood, she is survived by three daughters and one son:  Michelle Hurst and husband, Rodney of Brooks, Melanie Zurface and husband, Brian of Waynesville, Ohio, Melissa Hirmbruchner and husband, Leo of Campbellsville and Michael Wood and wife, Ginger of Louisville; five grandchildren:  Cole Hurst, Brody Hurst and Camden Hurst of Brooks and Gisela Hirmbruchner of Campbellsville and Hudson Wood of Louisville; her mother, Roseann Hines of Campbellsville; two brothers:  Donnie Hines and wife, Chris and Danny Hines of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Hines Jones October 27, 2008.

Carolyn Bottoms Newton Thompson of Louisville, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Shelby Bottoms and Alice Greer Bottoms was born

September 23, 1943 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 12:36 P.M., Saturday, February 2, 2013 in Louisville.     Age: 69

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church.

She was a former restaurant manager.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Brian and Regina Newton of New Salisbury, Indiana; two step-children: Walter Thompson and Misty Thompson of Louisville; three grandchildren: Shelby Keith Newton, Scott Howard Newton and Alice Catherine Newton; four sisters and one brother: Ruth Price, Margaret Shively and Rita Nelson Cobb of Campbellsville, Mary Nelson of Louisville and J.D. Bottoms of Texas City, Texas; one aunt, Blanche Kerr of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters: Ronald Bottoms, Ralph Bottoms, James Bottoms, Lenny Bottoms, Hazel Beasley and Leona Hughes.

Mitchell Rodgers of Campbellsville, son of the late Ralph Mitchell Rodgers, Sr. and Claudine McCubbin Rodgers, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, December 21, 1936.  He died at 9:50 A.M., Friday, February 1, 2013, in Campbellsville.     Age:   76

He professed faith in Christ and attended Liberty Baptist Church.

He was a retired construction employee.

He was a member of the Elk Horn Masonic Lodge #568 F & AM for many years.

He united in marriage to Mildred Baumgardner August 25, 1956.

Besides his wife, Mildred Rodgers, he is survived by two sons and one daughter:  Mike Rodgers and wife, Cindy, Ricky Rodgers and wife, Ann and Carol Caldwell and husband, Tony of Campbellsville; five grandchildren:  Jenna Schulten and husband, John, LeAnn Eastridge and husband, Jordan, Nathan Rodgers, Raven Norris and husband, John and Haley Rodgers; three great-grandchildren:  Jack Schulten, Olivia Schulten and Finn Eastridge; two brothers and three sisters:  Bobby Rodgers and wife, Donna, Lorene Mann and husband, Gordon, Margaret Sapp of Campbellsville, Eva Skaggs and husband, Ham of Russell Springs and Jimmy Rodgers and wife, Debbie of Leitchfield; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She united in marriage to R. D. Stiles December 25, 1941.  He preceded her in death November 30, 1988.
