Lona Joan Watson, age 78 of Campbellsville, died Thursday, January 31, 2013 at her residence after a long illness.
She is survived by four sons; Mark Watson of Campbellsville, Billy Watson, Jeff McGinley and Jimmy McGinley all of Indianapolis, five daughters and son-in-laws; Connie and Lamar Logan, Cindy and Frank Terry both of Indianapolis, Sonya and Chester Whittington, Felicia Greer both of Roley and Kathy and Joe Tuner of Greensburg along with twenty-eight Grandchildren, thirty Great Grandchildren, one brother Buck May of Indianapolis and three sisters; Sharron Dobbs, Bobbi Spellman and Alice Weidman all of Indianapolis.
Funeral services for Lona Watson will be conducted Sunday, February 3, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Robinson Chapel Cemetery.
Family request visitation from 5-8 PM Saturday in chapel of Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home.

Thelma Maire Gabehart, age 98, of Campbellsville, died Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Taylor Regional Hospital.
She is survived by three sons Kenneth Gabehart of Campbellsville, Rodney Gabehart of Largo, Florida and Roger Gabehart of St Charles, Illinois, one daughter Betty Gabehart of South Charleston Virginia, ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren along with a host of family and friends.

Delbert Leon Gadberry, age 86, of Campbellsville, died Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Taylor Regional Hospital.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Randall Bell of Campbellsville. Two grandchildren, LaTasha Bell and Brooke Cox and husband Madison, one brother Garland Gadberry of Columbia, three sisters Loretta Gadberry, Marie Grant and Marjorie Campbell all of Columbia.

Mr. Edward Lee Clark, age 81, of Ingram Avenue, Campbellsville, died Saturday January 26, 2013, at the Taylor Regional Hospital after an illness.
He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, David and Mary Kay Clark of Campbellsville, Tommy and Mary Rita Clark of Lebanon, and Johnny and Belinda Clark of Spurlington. Six-grandchildren, Sarah Beth, Allison, Melissa, and Steven Clark, Victoria Sharp and Tiffany New and seven great-grandchildren also survive along with two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Alice Clark of Lebanon, Mike and Debbie Clark of Jacksonville, Florida, and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Jane and Tom Mills of Lebanon and Geraldine and Jim Elder of Louisville.
Funeral services for Mr. Edward Lee Clark will be held at 11 AM Tuesday at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Lebanon National Cemetery with full military honors by the Marion County DAV Chapter #70.

Evelyn Henry Rice of Wetumpka, Alabama, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Howard Lee Henry and Blanche Rattliff Henry, was born in Nicholas County, Kentucky, June 10, 1907. She died at 5:45 A.M., Friday, January 25, 2013, in Wetumpka, Alabama.
Age: 105
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She was a graduate of Winchester High School, Kentucky Wesleyan College and did graduate studies at the University of Kentucky.
She was a retired schoolteacher, having taught in Harlan County and Campbellsville High School. While teaching at Campbellsville High School she taught English, Latin, Social Studies and almost any other subject that needed a teacher. She was Senior Class Sponsor for 30 years, editor of the yearbook for 24 years, and cheerleader sponsor for 10 years. She didn’t like retirement so she worked as a Customer Service Representative for Taylor County Bank for ten years. She was a member of the Campbellsville Woman’s Club, member and past regent of the David Allen Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Campbellsville Coterie Club and treasurer for many years of Friends of the Library.
She united in marriage to Dr. Howard Rice, DDM June 20, 1931. He preceded her in death February 5, 1996.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Howard Henry and Glenda Rice of Wetumpka, Alabama; three grandchildren: Howard Christopher Rice and wife, Ange of Fitzpatrick, Alabama, Evelyn Rice O’Leary and husband, Joseph of Birmingham, Alabama and Charles Jeffrey Rice and wife, Cecile of Montgomery, Alabama; six great-grandchildren: Jeffrey Taylor Rice, Charles Jacob Rice, Kendall Anne Rice, Phillip Matthew Howard Rice, Michael Christopher O’Leary and William Henry O’Leary; several other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: William Howard Henry and Charles Rattliff Henry.

Mrs. Ruth Eloise Salsbury, age 84, of Campbellsville, died Thursday, January 24, 2013, at the University Hospital in Louisville after an illness.
Eloise was a member of the First Methodist Church, she was a loving mother and friend.
She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law and one daughter, Donald Mack and Maryanne Salsbury of Cleveland, Ohio and Kyle and Sherry Salsbury both of Campbellsville. Four grandchildren, Rebecca Juniper, Matthew and Ethan Salsbury all of Ohio and Lake Salsbury of Campbellsville.

Megan C. Davis of Portsmouth, Ohio, formerly of Campbellsville, son of the late I. I. Davis and Olive Spurling Davis, was born in Bullitt County, Kentucky, September 29, 1924. He died at 1:05 P.M., Monday, January 14, 2013 in Portsmouth, Ohio. Age: 88
He was a veteran of World War II, having served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps.
He united in marriage to Martha Taylor July 18, 1940.
Besides his wife, Martha Davis, he is survived by one son, Jerry C. Davis and one granddaughter, Sherry Ann Davis of Florida.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Terry T. Davis March 25, 2008.
Entombment was at Woodlawn Memory Gardens in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Vivian Gadberry, 81, of Bell Avenue, died Thursday, January 18, 2013, at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab Center after an illness.
Vivian was the daughter of the late Avin Adamson Bailey and Austin Jack Bailey; she was also preceded in death by brothers Parker and Jackie Bailey.
She was a member of Southside Christian Church, Vivian was a loving wife and mother and a friend to many.
She is survived by her husband, Delbert Leon Gadberry of Campbellsville and one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Randall Bell of Campbellsville. Two grandchildren, LaTasha Bell and Brooke Cox and husband Madison, three sisters Inez Burbridge and Laura Hadley both of Columbia and Lois Garrett of Greensburg, alone with a host of family and friends.
