Charles Harvey Hearon, age 92, of Hearon Road Campbellsville
died Friday, July 22, 2011, at Grandview Nursing Home after an illness.
He is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, James Burr and Betty Hearon , Thomas
Brooks and Vickey Hearon all of Campbellsville, five grandchildren, two step
grandchildren, five great grandchildren, three step great grandchildren, one
sister, Dallas Charlene Skaggs of Campbellsville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11AM, Monday, July 25, 2011 at the Lyon-DeWitt
Funeral Home with burial to follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Family request visitation 5-8 PM, Sunday, July 24, 2011 at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral
Home.

Wesley Phillips of Hodgenville, formerly of Campbellsville, son of the late Clarence S. Phillips and Eliza Jane Woodrum Phillips, was born September 7, 1910, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 12:30 A.M., Wednesday, July 20, 2011 in Hodgenville. Age: 100
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of BuffaloChurchof the Nazarene.
He was a retired farmer and carpenter.
He united in marriage to Dorothy Benningfield May 30, 1931. She preceded him in death August 27, 1984.
He united in marriage to Sue Lloyd December 28, 1985.
Besides his wife, Sue Phillips, he is survived by one son, Dallas Lynn Phillips and wife, Annetta of La Grange; two step-daughters: Hope Cox and husband, Michael of Rineyville and Faye Johnson and husband, Murray of Gallatin, Tennessee; seven grandchildren: Sandra Sharp of New Castle, Kentucky, Mona Burton, of Columbia, Karen Button of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Rhonda Forsythe of North Carolina, Cherie Springman and Alecia Kollasch of Phoenix, Arizona and Trinka Hall of Black Canyon City, Arizona; twenty-two great-grandchildren; twenty-three great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Margaret McDonald of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one son: Buford Douglas Phillips April 6, 2011 and two grandsons: Peri Douglas Phillips and Roger Phillips; two brothers and three sisters: Wallace Phillips, Sam E. Phillips, Myrtle Wise, Alta Stephens and Grace Wise.

Darrell Shipp of Campbellsville, son of Nell Brockman Shipp and the late Gilbert Shipp, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, June 15, 1948. He died at 4:04 P.M., Saturday, July 16, 2011, in Louisville. Age: 63
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Bethel First Presbyterian Church.
He was a former employee of Anaconda in Summersville for twenty years.
He is survived by his Mother, Nell Shipp of Campbellsville; one niece and one nephew: Beth Sanders and Chris Ferguson and wife, Amanda of Campbellsville; three great-nephews and two great-nieces: Aaron Bottoms, Jason Sanders, Dalton Beams, Darlene Ferguson, and Naomi Ferguson; lifetime friend, Janford Agee of Columbia; several other relatives and many friends.

She was a retired beautician.
She united in marriage to Robert H. Romine January 22, 1944.
Besides her husband, Robert H. Romine, she is survived by one daughter and one son: Darlene Eastridge and husband, Ronnie and Mike Romine and wife, Llany of Goodlettsville, Tennessee; four grandchildren: Dana Milby and husband, Mike of Madison, Alabama, Joshua Eastridge of Campbellsville, Cristina Romine and Melissa Romine of Goodlettsville, Tennessee; two great-grandchildren: Brennan Mattingly and Maddox Clark; one brother, Clelland Hubbard of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She united in marriage to Arthur Sallee September 21, 1971. He preceded her in death June 16, 1975.
She is survived by two daughters and one son: Dorene Dakin of Bedford, Indiana, Mildred Comstock and husband Tom of Springhill, Florida, and Robert Pace and wife Vinda of Brooksville, Florida; two step-sons and four step-daughters: William E. Ira Powers, age 62, of Eastview Lane, Campbellsville, died Monday at his residence after an illness.
He is survived by his wife, Alice M. Powers, two sons and daughters and their spouses, Michael James and Terry
Powers of Florida, Matthew and Jessica Powers of Indiana, Melissa and Michael Kinslow and Marla and Bryan Smith of, Indiana. Two step-sons and their spouses, James and Dana Hoosier of Lexington Scott and Stacy Hoosier of Campbellsville and one step-daughter and her spouse Tammy and Leo Thompson of Campbellsville. Seventeen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren also survive along with three brothers and two sisters, Hershel and Estill Powers of Tennessee, Lloyd Powers of Michigan, Geneva Hunley of Tennessee and Alene Leach of Indiana.
Funeral services for Mr. Ira Powers will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Robin Gallery Forbes of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Dr. William V. Gallery and Pamela Shaw Gallery, was born on May 18, 1953. She died of a brief illness on June 21, 2011 inCampbellsville,Kentucky.
Raised in Wilmingtonand New Castle, Delaware, she attended the Tatnall School, graduated from the Hannah More Academy, Reisterstown, Marylandand attended Beaver College, now Arcadia University.
She led a distinguished career in management at Rosenbluth International (Philadelphia), Cardinal Health/Advogent (Piscataway,New Jersey) and as General Manager at Upstream in Campbellsville,Kentucky, where she was recognized with the Taylor County Service Business of the Year Award in 2006.
She was married to re-nowned landscape painter/artist Robert Jeffrey Forbes (aka Peter Keating) who preceded her in death in 2007. She is survived by one brother, William Gallery of Greene, Rhode Island; one aunt and uncle, Alison and Martin Dudley of Malvern, Pennsylvania; several nieces, nephews, step-sisters and dear friends.
There will be a private family service conducted at the Forbes family plot in Maryland at a later date.
