Audrey Edwards, of Campbellsville, the daughter of the late Andy Marcum and Mary Lizzie (Nelson) Marcum Marr, was born June 7, 1941 in the Pleasant Valley Community of Green County and departed this life on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab. She was 82 years of age.
She enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows and Wheel of Fortune and playing bingo at the nursing home.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son: Mark Wayne Marcum; a brother: David Marcum.
Survivors include two sons: Owen “Ricky” Marcum and his fiancé: Debra Baker of Campbellsville and Danny Wayne Marcum of Lebanon; three grandchildren: Mark Marcum and wife Summer, Chelsea Milby and husband Blake all of Campbellsville and Jacob Marcum of Lebanon; six great-grandchildren: Marley Skinner, Nova Milby, Armani Milby, Avery Marcum, Lizzie Marcum and Hallie Marcum.
Also a sister: Elizabeth Ann Schladant and husband Paul of Indiana and a host of other relatives and friends.
A graveside service for Audrey Edwards will be Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at the Brookside Cemetery with burial to follow.

Diane Salyers, of Mannsville, the daughter of the late Cecil and Edith (Davis) Salyers, was born August 11, 1955 in Casey County, KY and departed this life on Thursday, July 27, 2023 in Danville at the Ephraim McDowell Hospital. She was 67 years of age.
She was of the Christian Faith. She enjoyed yardwork, being outdoors, gardening, antique hunting and spending time with her family.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers: Debbie Salsbury, Vicky Byrd, Cecil David ‘Smiley” Salyers and Daril Salyers.
Survivors include a son: George Green and wife Beth of Mannsville; a daughter: Michelle Ward and husband Scott of Tennessee.
Also three brothers: Ricky Salyers and wife Brenda, Timmy Salyers and Jerome Salyers and wife Kim all of Liberty; five grandchildren: Logan Russell, Eli Propes, Joshua Kidd, Nicole Ward and Justin Reynolds; two great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
A private service will be conducted on Saturday at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Acton-Mannsville Chapel.

Betty Raye Moss of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Joseph Lester Crabtree and Ida Ethel Fawcett Crabtree, was born June 1, 1931 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. She died at 6:45 A.M., Wednesday, July 26, 2023 in Campbellsville. Age: 92
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church where she sang in the Young at Heart Choir and had served over seventy years as a Sunday School teacher.
She was a retired deputy clerk with the Taylor Circuit Clerk’s office after many years of service. Betty was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed traveling and stayed very active. She was a terrific cook and was most famous for her butterscotch pies.
Betty Raye united in marriage to Hugh Garrett Moss December 27, 1951 and he preceded her in death July 1, 2015.
Betty Raye is survived by two daughters: Dana Petitt-Janes and husband, Terry of Bardstown and Cami Caldwell and husband, Todd of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; eight grandchildren: Reagan Petitt, Kennedy Petitt, Emily Hope Caldwell, Sarah Caldwell, Heath Caldwell, John Caldwell, Luke Caldwell and Samuel Caldwell; three great-grandchildren: Harper Grace Petitt, Rowan Metcalf and Conner Metcalf and several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Nadine Crabtree.

Lula Mae Bell passed away at 8:20 A.M., Tuesday, July 25, 2023 in Campbellsville. Born on October 16, 1925, she was 97 years old.
She united in marriage to Raymond Bell on April 29, 1944.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of South Campbellsville Baptist Church then attended Yuma Baptist Church with her son when she became unable to drive.
She is survived by one son, Larry Kent Bell, and his wife, Ellen and three grandchildren: Laura McWilliams of Lancaster, Ky., Aaron Marples of Campbellsville, Ky. and Joanne Jansen of Louisville, Ky.; three great-grandchildren: Emily Mach and Sophia McWilliams of Lancaster, Ky., and Genevieve McWilliams of Texas. She is survived by one brother, Billy Rainwater (Bernice) and one sister, Barbara Skaggs (Donald). She also leaves behind two dear friends, Kay DeMurray and Shirley Murphy.
Lula Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, who passed away on June 29, 2009 and by her parents, Ras and Lillian Ford Rainwater; also four brothers – Ernest, J.D., Gordon and Kenneth Rainwater, and three sisters – Madeline Cave, Helen Sharpe, and Rosaline Sprowles.

David White of Campbellsville, son of the late John Henry White and Mary Lee Herron White, was born August 22, 1929 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 4:35 A.M., Saturday, July 22, 2023 in Campbellsville. Age: 93
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Christie’s Chapel having recently attended God’s Grace Church.
He served his country honorably in the United States Army.
David was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom. He was a family man who loved spending time farming, kayaking, golfing, riding horses, square dancing, watching Nascar and Indy Racing, riding motorcycles, and being active outdoors.
He united in marriage to Betty May Feese White May 22, 1954 and she preceded him in death January 24, 2022.
David is survived by two sons and one daughter: Kelly White of Winterville, North Carolina, Steve White of Campbellsville, and Holly Ditmore and husband, Tim of Scottsville; three grandchildren: Preston White of Winterville, North Carolina, Stanton White and wife, Morgan of Greensburg, and Kathrine Ditmore of Scottsville; two great-grandchildren: Raelyn White and Chandler White; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one brother: Dan White; and several other half-brothers and half-sisters.

James Robert “Jim” Gilbert, of Bradfordsville, the son of the late Russell and Ruth (Williams) Gilbert, was born April 6, 1947 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Friday, July 21, 2023 in Elizabethtown at Signature Healthcare. He was 76 years of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Campbellsville First Church of God and was a construction superintendent.
He enjoyed farming, gardening and talking for hours on the phone with a chew of Red Man in his mouth and loved his German Shepherd, Sable.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four children: Melissa Dawn Gilbert, John Russell Gilbert, Clifford Kyle Collett and David Ryder Collett.
Survivors include his wife: Betty (Hall) Gilbert; his children: Cynthia Thomas, James Michael Gilbert, David Shawn Gilbert and his wife: Tammy, Laura Savannah Gilbert and fiance’ Chris.

Dianna Hall, 65, of Columbia, Kentucky, daughter of Mary Crump and the late Jack Harris was born August 6th, 1957, in Ashland, Ohio, and departed this life on Tuesday, July 18th, 2023, at Green Hill Rehabilitation and Care in Greensburg, Kentucky.
She was united in marriage to Mr. Gregory Hall. He preceded her in death on November 7th, 1993.
Dianna loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a manager at Shoney’s restaurant where she loved all of her customers.

Leo Whitlock, of Campbellsville, the son of the late Arvin Ray and Rita Mae (Warner) Whitlock, was born January 6, 1963 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 in Campbellsville at the Taylor Regional Hospital. He was 60 years of age.
He attended the Mt. Washington Baptist and Good Hope Baptist Churches.
Before becoming disabled at the age of eighteen following an automobile accident, he was very athletic being a track star at Taylor County High School.
Survivors include his companion: Melissa Whitlock, his children: Emily Caudle and husband Michael and Levi Read and wife Autumn; three grandchildren: Avery, Jase and Harper Caudle.
Also surviving are eight brothers and sisters: Bill Whitlock and wife Sharon, Clellan Whitlock and wife Elizabeth, Ronnie Whitlock and wife Jeannie, Mazie Bagby and husband Kenneth, Paul Whitlock and wife Ila Jean, Tommy Whitlock, Mary Redman Lampkin and husband Charles, Jerry Whitlock and wife Chicquita; a brother-in-law: Willie Lampkin.

Herlene Kilby of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late James McGaha and Lou Vada Wethington Kilby, was born September 20, 1924 in the Bull Run Holler community of Casey County, KY, and departed this life on Monday, July 17, 2023 in Campbellsville. She was 98 years of age.
She had professed faith in Christ and was of the Methodist faith. She was a member of the 920 birthday pen pals club and the Green River Homemakers Club. She enjoyed making dolls for her family, quilting, and was a great clothing seamstress.
She had united in marriage to Lendolph Kilby in 1940. He preceded her in death in April of 1987.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in law: Shirley Matney and husband Eugene of Campbellsville
One sister: Doris Owens and husband Bob of Washington state.
Seven grandchildren: Diana Lenington (Roger), Doug Parker (Renee), Kim Knifley (Joe), LeAnne Smith (Jeremy), Amy Hicks (Carl), Renay Wethington (Mike), Jessica Brumm (Guss). 18 great-grandchildren, 27 great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild.
Besides her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by her step-father, Robert Lee Kilby, four sisters and four brothers: Naomi Jones, Leona Pike, Ella Wagner, Ruth Vancleave, Elza Kilby, Troy Kilby, Roy Kilby, and Howard Kilby.
