Samuel Frank Ford
Mr. Samuel Frank Ford was born Feburary 13, 1931 in Green County, Kentucky to the late Samuel and Nellie Jane Gaddie Ford. He passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010 at the Golden Living Center/Green Hill Manor, Greensburg, KY, having attained the age of seventy-nine years, nine months and twenty-six days.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt Union Baptist Church in Green County, Ky. He was a farmer. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife: Fronnie Dunn Ford, one son: Charles Dunn, two brothers: Richard and Tom Ford and one sister: Anna Ford.
He is survived by three sons and one daughter-in-law: Sammy Dunn of Campbellsville, Huezell and Erika Ford of Greensburg and Lyndell Dunn of Indianapolis, Indiana and four daughters and two sons-in-law: Alice and Samuel Simmons of Avon, Indiana, Edith May Rogers of Indianapolis, Indiana, Zella Ann and Alfred Royster of Illinois and Shirley McDonald of Florida. He is also survived by three brothers: Dave Ford of Campbellsville, Marhsall (Mont) Ford of Greensburg and Leo Ford of Indianapolis, Indiana, three sisters and one sister-in-law: Dorothy Ford of Campbellsville, Helen Williams of Elizabethtown and Odessa Ford of Campbellsville. Sixteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Samuel Frank Ford will be conducted 1 p.m. Central Time Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at the Mt. Union Baptist Church . Burial will follow in the Mt Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends of Mr. Samuel Frank Ford may call at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg after 5 p.m. Central Time Monday and after 7 a.m. Central Time Tuesday.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions for the funeral expenses. These can be made at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home

Thomas Shofner of Campbellsville, son of the late Wesley Shofner and Lillie Hedgespeth Shofner was born June 8, 1926 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 11:45 P.M., Friday, December 10, 2010 in Campbellsville. Age: 84
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Zion Separate Baptist Church.
He was retired from General Electric in Louisville.
He united in marriage to Hazel Cash in 1942.
Besides his wife, Hazel Shofner of Campbellsville, he is survived by three sons and two daughters: James Shofner and wife Tressie and Sharlot Galloway of Campbellsville, Patricia Blackford and William Shofner and wife Vesta of Louisville and Raymond Shofner of Florida; sixteen grandchildren; twenty eight great-grandchildren; six great-great- grandchildren; one sister Lucy Skaggs of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Rebecca Lynn Shofner, one grandson, Donnie Galloway; three brothers and two sisters: John Shofner, Herman Shofner, Roscoe Shofner, Nora Sprowles and Ruth Shofner.

Phillip Shaw, 74
Dr. Phillip E. Shaw was born October 10, 1936 in Elgin, Illinois to the late Donald Walter and Phyllis Eames Shaw. He departed this life Saturday, November 27, 2010 at his home in Taylor County, Kentucky, having attained the age of seventy-four years, one month and seventeen days.
Dr. Shaw had made a profession of faith at an early age. He had been a chiropractor from 1964 until 2010. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by one daughter: Terra Shaw, one granddaughter: Mary Kate Moore and one brother: Stephen Shaw.
He is survived by his wife Tammy Brummett Shaw, five children: Jerry and Susan Shaw of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, Laura and Scott Caldwell of Indian Harbor Beach, Florida, Tracy and Rod Moore of Greensburg, Kentucky, Dr. Stephen W. and Brooke Shaw of Greensburg, Kentucky and Ryan Shaw of Marietta, Georgia, four grandchildren: Jordan Moore, Matt Shaw, Bailey Shaw and Casey Caldwell. He is also survived by one brother: Jeff Shaw of Deerfield, Illinois, one sister: Susan Burgess of Columbiaville, Michigan, plus a host of other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of life will be at the Dr. Phillip E. Shaw Chiropractic Office, 1900 Greensburg Road, Campbellsville, Ky. Thursday, December 2, 2010 from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. Eastern Time. All family and friends are invited to come by the office. The family has requested donations be made to the Mary Kate Moore Scholarship Fund. These can be made at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home.
