Lucille Patterson McKinney 89, of Greensburg formerly of Campbellsville, died Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home after an illness.
She was the daughter of the late Walter and Lottie Shipp. A faithful member of St. Marks United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Estella (Midgie) Patterson and Donna Powell, son, Robert (Bobby) Patterson, three grandchildren, Kelly Simpson, Mark and Jeremiah Patterson and two brothers Allen and Leonard Shipp.
She is survived by one son Junior Patterson of Acton, two daughters Barbara Judd of Greensburg and Saundra and Haskel Simpson of Calvary, two sisters Helen Sharp of Evansville and Sylvia Hedinger of Louisville, 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Sunday, June 14, 2009 at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to follow in the Shiloh Cemetery. Family requests visitation from 5-7 PM Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home.

Olan H. Hall, age 82, of Smith Ridge Road Campbellsville, died Saturday, June 13, 2009, at Green Hill Manor Nursing Home after an illness.
He was the son of the late Hurley Henry and Sallie Mattie Warren Hall. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Pauline Hall on June 6, 1992, also preceding him in death were two brothers, Newton and Herman Hall.
He is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Betty and Jim Gilbert of Campbellsville and Madonna Russell of Campbellsville, four grandchildren, Neeley Tralor, Lathan Russell, Shannon Blair, and Lora Savanna Gilbert, four great grandchildren, Whitley Collett, Alexis Russell, Abby and Emmy Tralor, one sister, Nettie Russell of Louisville, two half brothers, Henry Hall of Campbellsville and Dennis Hall of Missouri and one half sister, Helen Underwood of Greensburg.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11AM, Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Hazel Bernice Rager, age 78 of Guthrie formally of Taylor County, went to be the Lord on June 10, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dean Rager, sisters Estella Thomas and Lorina Pullen, brother Harold Murphy, and grandson Brian Lewis Bruce.
Survivors include children Johnny Lee and Toni Ward of Jacksonville, Florida, Dianne Ray of Hopkinsville, Georgina and Sergio Rivera of Guthrie, Brenda Jean Goode of Killeen, Texas and Denise Yvonne Rager of Kodak, Tennessee. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and one sister, Edna Mae Stayton of Fairdale.
Services will be held Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 11 AM at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at the Zion Separate Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, June 12 from 5-8 PM.

She was a faithful member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church. The daughter of the late Estill and Artie Burress. She was preceded in death by her husband Elvin Earl Huddleston and a son, Mitchell Eugene Huddleston.

Altha Bland of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Thomas Newton and Minnie Ayers Newton, was born July 25, 1905, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 11:17 A.M., Friday, June 12, 2009 in Campbellsville. Age: 103
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She united in marriage to Forest O. Bland January 27, 1923. He preceded her in death July 1, 2005.
She is survived by two daughters and one son: Ruth Meadows and husband, J. D. of Campbellsville, Frances Shofner of Shively and Ralph Bland of Valley Station; eight grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; eighteen great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Bess Isaac of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters: Mary Kemp, Jim Newton, Otha Newton, Minnie Turner, Helen Webb and Shirley Begeman.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Salem Baptist Church.
She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She united in marriage to William VanCleave September 15, 1937. He preceded her in death June 15, 1989.
