Dimmon Corbin of Campbellsville, son of the late Willie Corbin and Hallie Richards Corbin, was born November 8, 1922 in Adair County, Kentucky. He died at 8:45 A.M., Friday, March 20, 2009 in Campbellsville. Age: 86
He professed faith in Christ and attended the First Church of God.
He was retired from Fruit of the Loom having been employed in the Knitting Room.
He united in marriage to Louise Bryant December 2, 1943.
Besides his wife, Louise Corbin of Campbellsville, he is survived by two sons: David Corbin and wife, Jewell and Donnie Corbin and wife, Myra of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Benjamin Corbin of Campbellsville; Andrea Harmon and husband, Robert of Mannsville and Tommy Corbin of Lexington; two great-grandchildren: Levi Harmon and Rose Harmon of Mannsville; one sister and brother-in-law, Tina and Tom Myles of Campbellsville and one brother, Walter Corbin of Anderson, Indiana; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Dimple Burris.

Emma Frances Penick Bean of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Everett Andrew Penick and Dorothy Mae Elmore Penick, was born March 23, 1915 in Green County, Kentucky. She died at 5:00 A.M., Monday, March 16, 2009 in Campbellsville. Age: 93
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Beulah Presbyterian Church in Louisville.
She was a former employee of Brown amp; Williamson Tobacco Company and The Curtis Wright Corporation.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Bean.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Myrna and Marvin Martin of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Tina (Phillip) Speller of Apollo, Florida, Bill Wilson, and Lisa (Ricky) Janes of Campbellsville; six great-grandchildren: Chase Speller and Fallon (Justin) Ascherman of Florida, and Cory (Cassandra) Wilson, Logan Wilson, Whitney Spurling, and Wade Burton of Campbellsville; two great-great-grandchildren: Braden Cole Ascherman and Stephen Dalton Ascherman of Florida; one brother and one sister: Bob Penick of Louisville and Eliza (Jack) Perkins of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers: Lida Antle, Virgil Penick, and Richard Penick.

Woody L. Newton, of Campbellsville, son of the late Clarence W. Newton and Iris Gaines Newton, was born November 2, 1928 in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 12:24 A.M., Saturday, March 14, 2009 in Campbellsville. Age: 80
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Woodlawn Christian Church.
He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served his country honorably in the United States Army.
He was a retired agent of the Ashland Oil Bulk Plant in Campbellsville.
He united in marriage to Jean Coffey February 4, 1950.
Besides his wife, Jean Newton of Campbellsville, he is survived by one sister, Barbara Warren of Campbellsville and two brothers, James L. Newton and wife, Sondra and Damon A. Newton of Tipp City, Ohio; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Brian K. Newton, September 3, 1999.

Robert Frank Arnold, age 88, of Elizabethtown, formerly of Taylor County, died Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Hardin Memorial Hospital after an illness.
He was the son of the late Robert (Bob) and Lola Elizabeth Arnold. He was also preceded in death by one son, Larry James Arnold and one sister, Dollie June Arnold.
He is survived by his wife, Lena Mardis Arnold, of Elizabethtown, four sons, Mike Arnold of Campbellsville, John Arnold, Steven Arnold and Danny Arnold all of Elizabethtown, one step-daughter, Judy Henderson of Illinois, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren, one brother, Stanley Arnold of Lewisburg, Ohio.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10AM, Monday, March 16, 2009 at Kentucky Veteran Cemetery in Radcliff.

Beatrice Mae Cox, age 58, of Underwood Street, Campbellsville died Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at her residence after an illness.
She was the daughter of the late Tom and Josie Pruitt of Greensburg. She was also preceded in death by one brother Billy Jean Pruitt and one sister Ruth Ann Pruitt. She was retired from Fruit of the Loom and a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church.
She was united in marriage to Delana Lewis (Bo) Cox on October 11, 1965, who survives. Also surviving is one son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Joy Cox of Elizabethtown, two daughters and son-in-law, Lana Loy of Campbellsville and special friend, Vernon Atwood , Kathy Jo and Mark Warren of Mt. Sherman, seven grandchildren, Josh and Mark Loy, Taylor and Kari Warren, Alli, Malorie and Makenna Cox and one great grandchild, Blake Russell-Loy, four brothers, William Robert (Bill) Pruitt, of Campbellsville, Jimmy Pruitt and Kenneth Ray Pruitt of Louisville, Roy Pruitt of Greensburg, two sisters, Patricia Marie Goldsmith of Horse Cave and Betty Frances Dunham of Louisiana.

She was the daughter of the late Eugene and Pearl Harmon. She was also preceded in death by one brother Bobby Benningfield. She was a member of First General Baptist Church, she also was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and former employee of Taylor County School System.
