Ilda Kathryn Douglas of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late Joseph Walter Gabehart and Mary Ina Browning Gabehart was born on August 25, 1934, in Marion County and departed this life Wednesday, June 26, 2024, in Campbellsville. She was 89 years of age.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Christian Church. She was retired from General Telephone Company. She enjoyed crocheting, quilts, gardening, puzzles, and going to the beach.
She had united in marriage to Melvyn Douglas and he preceded her in death in 2014.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Billy Joe Douglas and wife Sheila of Campbellsville. One granddaughter: Brooke Gupton and husband Josh of Greensburg, along with one great-granddaughter: Lexi Gupton.
Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister: Ivy Fowler.
There will be a private graveside service for Ilda Kathryn Douglas on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at the Brookside Cemetery in Campbellsville.
Bro. Rodney Booe will officiate.
Memorials are suggested to be in the form of donations to the Campbellsville University Presidents Scholarship Fund.

Barry Scott Parks of Campbellsville, son of Elizabeth Ann Goatee Parks and the late Russell Scott Parks, was born May 3, 1960 in Daviess County, Kentucky. He died at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, June 22, 2024 in Campbellsville. Age: 64
He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force.
Barry was a retired machinist with the Remedy Company.
He was known for his intelligence and witty sense of humor. He had a deep thirst for knowledge. Barry excelled in working with his hands, both in wood and metal work. His hobbies were reading, hunting and growing the biggest tomatoes he could. Barry was a loving father to his son, Jason.
He is survived by one son, Jason Parks of Osceola, Arkansas; his mother, Elizabeth Ann Parks; two sisters: Dawn Whitfill of Lebanon and Leyla Hook of Florida; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Deloris Jeffries daughter of the late Joseph Bentley Read and Nora Crews Read, was born on May 15, 1938 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 7:43 P.M., Monday, June 24, 2024, in Greensburg. Age: 86
Deloris was a retired childcare provider and caregiver.
She is survived by one brother and two sisters: John Read and wife, Sharon, Edna Read and Evalene Read of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her siblings: Larry Read, Josie Osborne, Linda Smith, Robert Read, Rosaline Read, Catherine Read, Norma Jean Read, Harry Read and Benny Read and three half-brothers: Joe Read, Glenn Read and Zeke Sapp.
