Mr. James David Wilhoit of Campbellsville passed from this life on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at his home after an illness. Born on June 19, 1996 to Connie (Warren) and the late James Douglas Wilhoit, he was 24 years and 6 months of age. He had made a profession of faith in Chris and was a member of Mt. Roberts Baptist Church. David’s life was life fraught with debilitating illnesses, yet he rarely complained. Instead, he loved to spend time with his family, and was often pulling practical jokes on them and his friends. He enjoyed listening to music and trading guns and trucks, and was a competitive online gamer.

Five siblings: Jessica Lotter and husband Jeremy, Jeremy Wilhoit and wife Bridgett, Stephanie Wiliamson and husband Craig, Danielle Wilhoit and fiancee John Johnson, and Nick Burress,
His grandmother: Sue Warren,
Nieces and nephews: Dakota Lotter, Jesse Lotter, Alexis Lobb, Ashley Wilhoit, Samantha Wilhoit, and Addison Wilhoit,
A special uncle and aunt: Mark and Kathy Warren,
And a host of extended family and friends.
There will be a funeral service to honor David’s life on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Dale Warren and Bro. Mike Woodrum will be officiating. Burial will follow in the M-W-L Cemetery in Taylor County.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, Dec. 22, from 10:00 AM until time for the service.
Expressions of sympathy are requested to be in the form of donations to the funeral expenses. Those may be made in person at the funeral home.

Lois Hord Carter of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Walter Ray Hord and Elsie Gore Hord, was born July 12, 1934 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 11:59 A.M., Saturday, December 19, 2020 in Campbellsville. Age: 86
She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.
She professed faith in Christ and was a lifelong member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Lois enjoyed walking around her Green Acres neighborhood every day and volunteering at Campbellsville Nursing and Rehabilitation when she was able. She was a big University of Kentucky Wildcat Fan.
She is survived by two daughters and one son: Debbie Carter Mathers, Patty Carter Howard and David Carter and wife, Rebecca of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Heather Barnes, Shawn Carter and Matthew Bright; four great-grandchildren: Tanner Barnes, Lauren Barnes, Colton Bright and Brayden Carter; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers: Joyce Tucker, Dorothy O’Banion, Audrey Maupin, Louise Oliver, Jean Wright, Richard Hord and Kenny Hord.

Lula Mae Dooley of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Walter Ray Sullivan and Pearl Nelson Sullivan, was born January 22, 1938 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 2:45 P.M., Thursday, December 17, 2020 in Louisville. Age: 82
She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and co owner of B&B Used Trucks. Lula Mae could be described as a loving Christian mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
She professed faith in Christ and was a lifetime member, elder and piano player at Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Lula Mae united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Dooley January 24, 1959 and he preceded her in death August 9, 1981.
She is survived by two daughters: Denise Gorley and husband, Dale of Campbellsville and Lisa Bryant and husband, Tim of Peachland, North Carolina; eight grandchildren: Clint Barnett of Campbellsville, Tabetha Bryant of Fairfax, Virginia, Jonathan Bryant of Kannapolis, North Carolina, Jacob Bryant and wife, Lindsay of Peachland, North Carolina, Jordan Gorley and wife, Sasha of Harrodsburg, Tatum-Michael Gorley and wife, Ariel of Calvary, Blair Gorley and wife, Emily of Nicholasville and Lexis Gorley and fiancé, Salijah Johnson of Bradfordsville; five great-grand children: Mason Bryant, Riley Mae Bryant, Lawton Gorley, Lilly Gorley and Heidi Gorley; one brother and one sister: Norman Sullivan and wife, Bonnie and Rosie Sullivan; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
