Allen Smith, 54, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, was born December 14th, 1969 in Texas, and departed this life on Tuesday, October 8th, 2024 in Louisville.
Allen is survived by:
His wife, Diana Smith of Campbellsville
Three children: Madison Smith of Campbellsville; Luke Smith (Beth) of Leoma, TN; and Brittney Jones (Caitlin) of Union Grove, AL
Five grandchildren: Kyler Smith and Gage Smith of Leoma, TN; Hayden of Union Grove, AL; Katlyn and Kaleb of Texas
Several brothers and sisters
A host of other family and friends
FUNERAL: To honor Mr. Smith’s requests, cremation was chosen. There will be no public services at this time. Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville is in care of arrangements.

Twyman Glen Skaggs of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late Thomas Hamilton Skaggs and Nora Allen Skaggs Vaughn, was born in the Mac Community of Taylor County, KY, on September 19, 1937, and departed this life on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. He was 87 years of age.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville First Church of God. He was retired from Fruit of the Loom. He was a fantastic bass guitar player and enjoyed woodworking, piddling, and watching his great-grandboys play.
He is survived by his loving wife Brenda Gilbert Skaggs of Campbellsville and one daughter and son-in-law; Tracy Lewis and husband Steve of Summersville. One granddaughter, Ann-Michael Tucker, and husband Jordan of Summersville. Two great-grandchildren: Caleb Tucker and Silas Tucker.
Also surviving are two brothers and two sisters: Thomas “Ham” Skaggs of Jamestown, Mary Clegg of Michigan, Garland Skaggs and Doris Moore both of Campbellsville.
The funeral service for Twyman Glen Skaggs will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel.
Rev. Evan Tedder will officiate.
The family requests visitation on Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

David Bryan Holmes, of Campbellsville, the son of the late Herbert Ray and Janice Gail (Boden) Holmes, was born October 10. 1956 in Chicago, Illinois, and departed this life on Monday, October 6, 2024, in Lexington at the UK Medical Center, He was 67 years of age.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; Donald Holmes and Dennis Holmes.
Survivors include his children: Jamie Kay Holmes and companion Roger of Bardstown, Jeremy David Holmes, Sarah Nicole Bright, and husband Richie, and Nicholas Bryan Holmes and wife Brandie, all of Campbellsville.
Also a brother: Daniel Holmes of Louisville; eight grandchildren: Jarred Gilbert and wife Paige, Chase Gilbert and wife Claira, Gavin Ford, Sierra Houk and Gage, Jayden Hardin, Carter Holmes, Ander Holmes, and Nate Hardin; three great-grandchildren: Oliver Dziabula, Aurora Dziabula, and PresLee Gilbert and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for David Bryan Holmes will be Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 6:00 P.M. in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with cremation rites to follow.
The family requests visitation after 4:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
