Sandra Williams

Sandra Dean Burbridge Williams, 61, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Robert Wallace Wheat Jr. and Johnnie Mae Burbridge was born November 12th, 1962 in Columbia, Kentucky, and departed this life on Monday, July 29th, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.

She united in marriage to James David Williams on May 12th, 2018.

Sandra worked at First & Farmer’s National Bank in Columbia, KY for 23 years as a teller and was promoted to head teller, which made her the first black head teller and First & Farmer’s National Bank. She also worked as OshKosh B‘gosh and Fruit of the Loom. She recently became a board member of Homeplace on Green River. Sandy enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Sandy served as a member and usher at Pleasant Union Baptist Church. Sandy loved her church family.

Her husband, James David (JD) Williams of Campbellsville

Her son, Johnathon Mckal Burbridge of Campbellsville

Three brothers and two sisters: James Burbridge, and his wife, Tanya, of Frankfort; Jean Moore and her husband, Malcolm, of Frankfort; Rogernetta Burbridge of New Braunfels, TX; Clifton Burbridge and his wife, Amy, of Richmond; Michael Burbridge of Louisville

Three nephews and six nieces: BriAnna Burbridge of Frankfort; Timothy Powell of Somerset; Dezara Miller of Richmond; Danielle Miller of Lexington; Cathy Miller of Richmond; Tyler Burbridge of Louisville; Rian Burbridge of New Braunfels, TX; Brandy Burbridge of Washington state; Roy Burbridge of Logansport IN

Two Stepchildren: Terrill Willams and his fiancé, Amanda Hawkins, of Campbellsville; and Tameka Barber and her husband, Cortez, of Bowling Green

Two step-grandchildren: Xander Williams of Campbellsville; and Salem Barber of Bowling Green

 

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by:

Three brothers: Roy Raymond Burbridge, Tony Durant Burbridge, and Roderick Lewis Burbridge

 

 

VISITATION: Sunday, August 4th, 2024 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Auberry Funeral Home at 503 East Main Street Campbellsville, KY 42718.

 

VISITATION: Monday, August 5th, 2024 from 7:00 am – 9:00 am at Auberry Funeral Home and from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm at Pleasant Union Baptist Church.

 

FUNERAL: Monday, August 5th, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Pleasant Union Baptist Church at 426 Fallen Timber Road Campbellsville, KY 42718. Rev. Michael Caldwell will be officiating.

Kristi Lynn Rattliff Hickerson

Kristi Lynn Rattliff Hickerson, daughter of Jewell Frances Merritt Rattliff and the late Herman Willard Rattliff, was born on May 14, 1960 in Taylor County, Kentucky.  She died at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, August 1, 2024 in Campbellsville.   Age:  64

Kristi united in marriage to Joe M. Hickerson and he preceded her in death April 5, 2007.

She is survived by her mother, Jewell Frances Rattliff of Louisville; one brother, Brian Rattliff and wife, Beth of Louisville several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Vera Ann Wethington Campbell

Vera Ann Wethington Campbell, daughter of the late Edgar Morris Wethington and Imelda Jane Wethington, was born on June 17, 1941 in Casey County, Kentucky.  She passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at 7:20 A.M. surrounded by loved ones at Baptist Health in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.    Age:  83

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.  She was also a member of the Emmaus Community.

Vera was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom after more than twenty years of service and Taylor Regional Hospital, also having more than twenty years of service.

She united in marriage to Garnett Elworth Campbell April 4, 1959 and he preceded her in death November 2, 1980.

Vera is survived by one son and one daughter: Rodney Campbell of St. Francis and Rhonda Christie of Campbellsville; one daughter-in-law, Deanna Campbell of Campbellsville; eleven grandchildren: Alicia Mitchell and husband, Adam of Campbellsville, Wes Campbell and wife, Beth of Elk Horn, Jared Campbell and wife, Madison of Louisville, Jacob Landon Campbell, Savannah Grace Campbell, Dakota Hunt of Bardstown, Travis Hunt (Maddie Lewis), Luke Hunt (Breanna Sharpe) and Amelia Christie (Nehemiah Ashley) of Campbellsville; Amelia’s dad and family friend, Tom Christie; six great-grandchildren: Braxton Mitchell, Kingston Mitchell, Brynlee Mitchell, Emma Kate Campbell and Norman River Ashley; two sisters: Louise Bricken and husband, John of Louisville and Cathy Tapscott and fiancée, Billy Gumm of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Vera was also preceded in death by a son, Rodger Campbell a grandson, Jonathon Campbell and three brothers and two sisters:  Malcolm Wethington, Lawrence Wethington, Patrick Wethington, Frances Waymon Pelston and Anna Catherine Wethington.
