Richard T. Page of Campbellsville, son of the late Johnie M. Page and Nettie Karnes Page, was born January 8, 1932 in Taylor County.  He died at 8:55 A.M., Saturday, September 14, 2024 in Campbellsville.      Age: 92

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Spurlington Methodist Church.

Richard served his country honorably in the United States Army.

He was a retired employee of GE.

He united in marriage to Brenda Wise November 24, 1965.

Besides his wife, Brenda Page of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and one daughter: Richard Allan Page and wife, Marcie Lynn of Campbellsville, and Linda Rigdon and husband, Bill of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Morgan Page Hutchinson and husband, Aaron, Kelley Rigdon Reynolds and husband, Tyler, Logan Page and wife, Kiley of Paducah and Wil Rigdon and fiancé, Kaitlyn Dadisman of Campbellsville, and Madison Page Castello and husband, Noah of Mt. Washington, and; five great-grandchildren: Emma Kate Hutchinson, Harper Grace Hutchinson, Rhett Reynolds, Talia Jo Castello, and Oliver Thomas Page; one sister, Mayme Gilbert; his beloved dog, Trooper; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Richard was also preceded in death by a sister, Naomi Benningfield.

Boyd Grace, 76

Mr. Boyd Grace, of Campbellsville, the son of the late Leo and Doris Grace was born, January 2, 1948 in Dunedin, Florida and departed this life on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at the Taylor Regional Hospital having attained the age of 76 years.

He was a Navy Veteran, having served in the Vietnam and was of the Christian Faith.

He was a former sign supply manager and did custom sign work.

Boyd enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and baking and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife: Suzann (Myers) Grace of Campbellsville; a daughter: Angela Bradberry and husband Joel of Texas and Jon and Jeanine Robinson and family of Campbellsville of whom he considered his own.

Also survived by three grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren,  lifelong friends: Dorene Jones and family of Florida, Frank and Mary Robinson and family and Peggy Lawson, both Columbia and Gillis, Barbara and Jesse Boils all of Campbellsville and his friends at Tublite and Heath and Company.

The family chose cremation and no formal services are scheduled.

Donna Farmer, 77

Donna Farmer, 77

Donna Barnett Farmer, age 77, of Campbellsville, KY, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024, in Louisville, KY. She lost her battle with liver cancer. Donna was the daughter of the late Edward “Bear” Barnett and Geneva Peters Barnett and was born November 9, 1946, near Yuma in Taylor County, KY.

She is survived by two sons; Christopher Farmer, and Jason Farmer and his wife Andrea all of Campbellsville, four grandchildren, one sister; Shirley Bright of Campbellsville, one brother; Ralph Barnett of Russell Springs, KY, and a host of other relatives, friends and her church family.

She was a member of the Point Pleasant Baptist Church, a member of the Jane Lampton Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution, and a member of the Society of Boonesborough. She was a descendant of the Daniel Boone family.

She retired from the Cabinet of Family and Children as an Eligibility Caseworker. She also worked many years for the Hansford Auction Co. as a clerk and cashier. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and she loved genealogy and had worked very hard to trace her family roots.

The funeral for Donna Barnett Farmer will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at 1:00 P.M.  at the L. R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Brookside Cemetery.

Bro. Jim Collison will officiate.

The family has requested visitation on Monday, September 16, 2024, from 5 – 8:00 P.M. at the L. R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel.

Expressions of sympathy are requested to be donations to the Point Pleasant Baptist Church building fund and can be made at the funeral home.

Pallbearers: Christopher Farmer, Jason Farmer, George Craig, David Farmer, Jason Caulk, Brad Akridge.

Honorary Pallbearers: Donnie Gray, and Jimmy Cable.
