Patsy Lynn Glidewell

Patsy Lynn Durham Glidewell, age 80, died Monday, March 3rd at Taylor Regional Hospital, Campbellsville, KY after a brief illness.  She was born the daughter of the late Kenneth Earl Durham and Frances Tipp Gupton.  She was born in Taylor Co. on March 8th, 1944.  She was a faithful member of Saloma Baptist Church.  She graduated from Campbellsville High School in 1962 and was a graduate of Danville Nursing School in Danville, KY.  During her life, she worked at Fruit of the Loom, Danville Rehab Center, and Wal-Mart.

She was preceded in death by both parents, two brothers, Charles & James L. Durham of Campbellsville, and two sisters, Elenoria Light of Campbellsville and LaVerne Hartfield of New Concord, OH.

Survivors include one son, Christopher Glidewell and his wife Vickie of Campbellsville; one grandson, MacKenzie Glidewell, and his wife Neha of Durham, NC, along with three sisters, Ms. Betty Roberts (Marcus) of Starke, FL, Ms. Mildred Gibson and Ms. Barbara Cox of Campbellsville and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 8th, 2025, at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville, KY, with burial to follow at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Dr. John Chowning will officiate.

The family requests visitation on Saturday, March 8th, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to Saloma Baptist Church, 1505 W Saloma Rd., Campbellsville, KY 42718.

Wanda Moran

Wanda Moran of Campbellsville, daughter of the late H. L. Elam and Ora Hopkins Elam, was born September 17, 1935 in McCrory, Arkansas.  She died at 9:45 A.M., Tuesday, March 4, 2025 in Campbellsville.   Age: 89

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Bible Baptist Tabernacle.

Wanda was a retired employee of White Castle having served thirty-eight years with the company.

She united in marriage to William “Bill” Blaine Moran October 12, 1958 and he preceded her in death November 28, 2022.

Wanda is survived by two daughters and one son:  Vickie Coulson and husband, Robert of Des Moines, Iowa, Phyllis King and husband, Kris of Lakeland, Florida and William B. Moran, Jr. and wife, Kim of Clemmons, North Carolina; daughter-in-law, Christine Moran Cundiff and husband, Tommy of Campbellsville; thirteen grandchildren:  Rachel Ashley and husband, James, Courtney Moran, Jordan Moran, Cody Moran and wife, Makenzie, Alexandrya Moran, Kara-Lynn Moran, John Seydlitz and wife, Rachel, Chastity Mylin and husband, Gregg, Makayla Fagan and husband, Shawn, Ryan Coulson and wife, Lauren, Michael Leitner and wife, Tiffany, Mark Paul and Christina Kosiorek and husband, David; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Phillip Elam and wife, Brenda of Brentwood, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Wanda was also preceded in death by a son, James Wayne Moran November 6, 2003.

Tom Caldwell

Tom Caldwell of Campbellsville, son of the late William Morton Caldwell, Sr. and Odessa Shankle Caldwell, was born January 25, 1945 in Jefferson County, Kentucky.

He died at 1:30 A.M., Thursday, February 27, 2025 in Campbellsville, aged 80.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Bethel First Presbyterian Church.

Tom served his country honorably in the United States Army Reserves.

He worked for Eastern Airlines for 26 years, was a former news anchor for the Big Dawg WVLC 99.9FM, and retired from owning and running a real estate brokerage in Campbellsville.
Tom was united in marriage to Julie Gaffin on May 9, 1970.
Besides his wife, Julie Caldwell of Campbellsville, Tom is survived by two sons:
Todd Caldwell and wife, Cami of Highlands Ranch, Colorado and Brian Caldwell and wife, Shannon of Lone Tree, Colorado; eight grandchildren:  Emily Caldwell, Sarah Caldwell, Heath Caldwell, John Caldwell, Luke Caldwell, Sam Caldwell, Brayden Caldwell and Charlotte Caldwell; one sister, Marilyn Gauvin of Westminster, Massachusetts; several other nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death in 2015 by his brother Morton Caldwell.
